Once again the beat of Heart rocks me. What an awesome night this must have been. Constantly bringing "new" ideas to the table, Ann, Nancy and the band just keep coming at you with something new and fresh to keep us rockin'!! I love this Dvd and everything about it. The different versions of songs, the Stockholm Strings, the extras. If your a Heart fan, serious or casual, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this concert performance. Buy it for yourself and invite your friends over for an evening of fun and music they all will talk about for days to come.
Comparing this to other Heart live releases I wil say that although Ann, Nancy and the drummer sound great the other members of the band are lackluster and poorly skilled compared to past members. Ann and Nancy's road band just does not cut it sadly.
I watched this on DirecTV and my mouth continually agate from the fumbling Craig Bartok did on lead guitar it is most pronounced on "Magic Man". Crazy On You isn't even the whole song most of the lead work is chopped out I suppose because Bartok couldn't play it. You would think that with this important release they would get the entire band back together...well heck even their 80's lineup played better than this.
