    Dreams turn to Nightmares

    Kevin Coogans excellent biography on the late obscure American fascist turned fugitive, Francis Parker Yockey, reminds us that freedom demands eternal vigilence. With copious interviews and literally thousands of footnoted source documents, Coogan leads the reader through a bizarre labyrinth of Axis Power war veterans, their collaborators, spinoff organizations, nut cases even 'Black Metal' bands: Coogan's book is a remarkable and successful effort to reveal those who embrace (or detest)the enigmatic Yockey. What comes accross is a frightening picture of an almost invisible netherworld - far more organized and widespread than might be believed. A shadow world complete with it's own American version of 'Hitler' with his own 'Mein Kampf' in the person of Francis Parker Yockey and his 600 page tome 'Imperium'. Truly chilling. Kevin Coogan has produced a compelling work and in the process, has done a tremendous public service to freedom loving people everywhere.
