Dreamer's Dictionaryby Garuda
Are your dreams a reflection of what is going on in your psyche? Or a vision of the future? Listen to these messages of your soul because they are a vital key to what's happening in your life. Look up the dream symbols, visions, and deep psychological meanings -- this is the only book to cover all three in one place -- among the alphabetized entries. For example, a boat is a symbol of your personality, part of what you need in order to move forward in the ocean of life. The vision reveals that you'll be making a trip or a change. And the psychological meaning suggests that you feel you're on shaky ground and/or journeying into a new phase of life.

When I was having weird and unexplainable dreams I barrowed my friend's 'Dreamer's Dictionary' and it was very strange to find out about my dreams. The book explains your innermost feelings and deepest desires, thoughts, and fears. That is mainly the reason I gave the book four stars. I think every one should give this book a chance a find out why they dream about what they dream about
This is the best book to get, about dreams. You can wake up in the morning, grab the book, and quickly look up the meaning of your dreams.
I’ve had this dictionary for well over a decade and it is the best. I have 3 other dream dictionaries, but – I repeat – this one is by far the best. It has everything. If there is something that you cannot find, for example, “Bathroom” then look under “House” and you will find it there. Other things, such as, “Zombie” and ‘Werewolf” do not have their own sectioned definition; however, you can look under “Monster” for either one or “Cadaver” for Zombie – just other words that can describe what you are looking for. (I used to have a lot of nightmares about scary two-legged werewolves, and it took me a VERY long time to realize that I just ate way too much that day and my body is telling me to stop being such a pig. :o) BUT that is my situation, not everyone else’s.) MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT IS NOT AVAILABLE AS AN eBOOK. I have a nook color now, and it would be great to have this dictionary on my nook as well.
I had a lot of vivid dreams and nightmares in high school. Mostly about storms (lots of stress in my life at the time) and the excerpts and symbol explanations in this book helped me sort them out and rationalize these strange visions. It made me feel a lot better knowing the source, or at least having a good idea, to where some of the more obscure or abstract thoughts came from. I bought another dream dictionary around the same time, but it was very limited and didn't help me much at all. I found while shopping for them, that a lot of these dream dictionaries are a little too "spacey", but this one seems to take a slightly more reserved and logical approach to the subject. Even my more skeptical friends have been amused by the interpretation of their dreams that this book offered. I highly recommend this book as your first and perhaps your primary dream dictionary.
If you dream and want to know the meaning of your dreams, this is a fun easy to read book. I keep it next to bedside.
this book is one of the best dictionaries ever. i may be young but i read and i know this book is up here! i never really undersood my dreams that well, now i know what to look for!
