Amazon Editors' Pick - One of the BEST ROMANCE BOOKS of JANUARY 2015!

Emily Braden is a leader in architectural preservation, a pillar in her small hometown, and successful in everything she does—with the exception of finding true love. She's watched several of her brothers fall in love, and she needs this trip to Tuscany to get away from it all and to stop focusing on what she doesn't have.

Dae Bray doesn't do flings, and he never stays in one place for very long. As a demolitionist, he goes where jobs take him, and the more often he travels, the better. His trip to Tuscany is all work—until he meets smart and sexy Emily, who makes him reconsider his fear of settling down, his no-fling rule—and just about everything else he's ever believed about himself.

Passion sizzles as Dae and Emily explore the history and beauty of Tuscany. Their romance moves beyond tourist attractions to the bedroom, blossoming into a deep connection neither can deny. But their worlds collide when Emily wants to preserve the property that Dae is there to demolish. Can a woman who sees the beauty in preservation and a man whose life is spent tearing things down find a solid foundation for their love?

LUSH. VERDANT. HILLY…Amazing. Emily stood on the covered balcony of the villa where she’d rented a room just outside of Florence, Italy, overlooking rolling countryside and the spectacular city below. The sun was kissing the last light of day goodbye, leaving chilled air in its wake. She sighed at the magnificent view, wrapped her arms around her body, and gave herself a big hug. She couldn’t believe she was finally here, staying at the villa that her favorite architect, Gabriela Bocelli, built.

Gabriela Bocelli wasn’t a very well-known architect, but her designs exuded simplicity and grace, which Emily had admired ever since she’d first come across this villa during her architecture studies. That felt like a hundred years ago. She’d dreamed of visiting Tuscany throughout school, but in the years since, she’d been too busy building her architecture business, which specialized in passive-house design, to take time off. If it weren’t for one of her older brothers, she might still be back in Trusty, Colorado, dreaming of Tuscany instead of standing on this loggia, losing her breath to the hilly terrain below.

She pulled her cell phone from the back pocket of her jeans and texted Wes.

You’re the best brother EVER! So happy to be here. Thank you! Xox.

Emily had five brothers, each of whom had hounded her about her safety while she was traveling. Or really, whenever they didn’t have their eyes on her. Pierce, her eldest brother, had wanted to use his own phone plan to buy her a second cell phone with international access. Just in case. She’d put her foot down. At thirty-one years old, she could handle a nine-day trip without needing her brothers to rescue her. It wasn’t like she ever needed saving, but her brothers had a thing about scrutinizing every man who came near her. Yet another reason why she didn’t date very often.

Still, she was glad they cared, because she adored each and every one of their overprotective asses.

Adelina Ambrosi appeared at the entrance to the balcony with a slightly less energetic smile than had been present throughout the day. Adelina had run the resort villa with her husband, Marcello, for more than twenty years. She was a short, stout woman with a friendly smile, eyes as blue-gray as a winter’s storm, and wiry gray hair that was currently pinned up in a messy bun. She must have mastered the art of walking quietly to keep from disturbing the guests.

“Good evening, Emily.” Adelina brushed lint from the curtains hanging beside the glass doors. Emily was glad they loved the property as much as she did. They rented out only two rooms of the six-bedroom villa in order to always have space available for family and friends. The villa was a home to them, not just a business, as was evident in the warm guest rooms.

“Good evening, Adelina. Any news on Serafina’s husband?”

Serafina was Adelina and Marcello’s daughter, who had recently moved back home with her eight-month-old son. They’d been living in the States when her husband, Dante, a United States Marine, had gone missing in Afghanistan while out on tour almost three months ago. Adelina had told Emily that she’d begged Serafina to come home and let her take care of her and baby Luca until her husband returned—and Adelina was adamant that he would return. Emily, on the other hand, wasn’t quite so sure.

“Not yet, but I have faith.” Adelina lowered her eyes, and with a friendly nod, she disappeared down the hall in the direction of her bedroom.

Emily turned back toward the evening sky, sending a silent prayer that Serafina’s husband would return unharmed.

“It’s a beautiful view, isn’t it?”

The rich, deep voice sent a shiver down Emily’s spine. She turned, and—holy smokes. Standing before her was more than six feet of deeply tanned, deliciously muscled male. His hair was the color of warm mocha and spilled over his eyes, hanging just an inch above the collar of his tight black T-shirt. She opened her mouth to greet him, but her mouth went dry and no words came.

Emily & Dae – Oh my goodness I loved the chemistry between them RIGHT away! As with the rest of her books that I have read, they are perfectly fine to read as a stand alone but they ARE part of a series! This book is set in Tuscany and oh my! The way the places are described makes me want to go there even more than I did before! I love that there was no dramatic scenes in this book, no jealousy going on, no fighting over another man or woman! It was more Dae and Emily having to work through their feelings for the other ones work. I hoped all through out the book that Emily would become okay with what Dae did for a living, considering it is the exact opposite of Emily’s job! Dae never one time thought anything about what Emily did for a living, and I find that showed his true feelings for her! I think out of all of the Heroes that Melissa Foster has written about, Dae would have to be my favorite! I never had a doubt in my mind that him and Emily would end up together! I was pleasantly surprised towards the end of the book, when he told Emily what was going to happen to The House of Wishes! (BIG THUMBS UP!)

This whirlwind romance speaks to the independent, career oriented women who dream of love and wonder when it will happen for them. For those that believe that opposites attract, this reinforces your belief in love; and for those that believe differences tear couples apart, this quick fast pace romance may help you believe otherwise. Foster makes you want to book a solo vacation to an exotic or romantic location because you never when a romance will bloom, because not all men are built for flings and one-night stands.

When Emily Braden takes a vacation to Tuscany, she meets the tall, handsome, muscular Dae Bray. It was immediate mutual attraction. The only problem is that while Emily is an architect who believes in restoration, Dae is a demolitionist. And as fate would have it, Emily falls in love with the house that Dae has been hired to assess to destroy. Can they overcome their opposite careers and build a lasting relationship? We’ll see! There’s no other feeling like love at first sight. I loved getting to know these two characters. It was interesting how they played off each other’s strengths and weaknesses. With all the backdrop descriptions, it made me want to visit Tuscany for sure. And of course I had to get my fix of Braden love when the family got together. They remind me so much of my four brothers and one sister. It always feels like home!

Emily and Dae's story was one of my favorite. I could feel the smile on my face as I read about their adventures in Italy. I loved it and was so happy they met each other and was able to work through their differences. An interesting and steamy love story. LA-TXN

I just loved Emily and Dae's love story. Italy was a lovely spot to find a true love and to question if it could last a life time in the love country of the world. Beside family being the number one struggle to keeping them together it was a career that could have torn them apart if they didn't face who they really were. They didn't have to change who they were to become the love of each others lifes forever. Hand or arm was just so sweet to set them apart from normal couples.

I'm sure at this stage in the game I sound like a broken record! I LOVE MELISSA FOSTER BOOKS!!! I've been crazily reading these books out of order but I fully intend to someday go back and read them in order. You can read this book as a stand alone but if you love it I suggest going back and reading the others as well. Ok, on to this story. Oh, Emily! Emily is a fantastic character with a passionate soul. Her love of preserving properties and finding the beauty in some old, virtually rundown building is part of what makes her so real and loveable. When she goes to Tuscany and meets smokin' hot Dae sparks fly. Their relationship becomes more than either was expecting (or looking for) but when they find out that they happen to be in Tuscany for COMPLETELY different reasons they find they have a lot to overcome. Go get this book NOW to find out if these two passionate souls can make their relationship work...

WARNING - This book will make you want to go to Tuscany! Right from the start the reader is invited to join Emily as she takes in the sights and sounds of Tuscany, where she is staying courtesy of her brother Wes. Stunning architecture, gracious hosts and "deliciously muscled" Dae staying in the next room... From the moment Emily and Dae meet, there is instant attraction and instantly as a reader I couldn't wait to get started with reading about their blossoming romance. I just love how the common interest in their lives could ultimately be their undoing, and their clashing moments made me audibly gasp (I bloody hate that word that to EL James and her nonsense books but I just can't think of another word!). Emily has watched her brothers fall in love and is jealous, she wants to be loved and now she has found this amazing guy who finds her amazing too, but could their careers ruin it for each other? I could review this book chapter by chapter - I enjoyed it so much! Its definitely my favourite Melissa Foster book. Its not a long book and is perfect if you are jetting off on a summer holiday, get started on this in the airport and by the time you get to your destination you will definitely be in summer holiday mode! :-) 5/5

I really enjoy reading about the Braden men but reading about Emily was so much fun. She is such a strong woman and know what she wants. I have dreamed of going on a vacation like she gets to go on. France is somewhere I will get to go to one day. Emily finding love there was so awesome. Who has not dreamed of building a relationship in Tuscany? I know I have. I thought Melissa Foster had covered my wildest imaginations with the stories on the beach but this one tops the beach for me. A foreign country is just more romantic and wild in my opinion. Emily and Dae have such an intense relationship that it keeps you drawn into the book. Just another great book by Melissa!

I have reviewed many of Melissa Foster's books and I don't think I can ever tire of them. Each is it's own even though they are connected by this wonderful family unit. It's fun to watch their lives unfold. Dreaming of Love is Emily Braden's story. She's on a much needed vacation in beautiful Tuscany when she meets Dae Bray. They ended up staying at the same cozy boarding house, so to speak, where the owner only rents out two of its rooms. Sparks instantly fly. I could actually see the fireworks going off! Emily is a very talented architect. Dae's work is in demolition. This is the reason for his trip to Italy.....to look over his next possible project. While enjoying the local scenery around Tuscany, Emily discovers a place in what is called the House of Wishes. It is a place that many come to and make wishes for various things.  Is this the same "project" that Dae is there to assess for demolition?  Will this end up causing a rift between the two? Well....you'll just have to read the book! I give this book a 5 star rating. Not because I have the opportunity to receive and review Ms. Foster's books but because it stands up to that rating. She is an excellent writer and her books always have a nice flow. Each can be read on their own without having you feel like you're missing something.

What can I say besides Dreaming of Love will have you dreaming of love or, as in my case, remembering love. This book reminded me of my husband, not that we have ever been to Italy or even that we had completely different jobs. It reminded me of the love we had and still have. My husband would do anything for me or to keep me safe. There is also the point where Dae asks Emily something at the end of the story in bed. Don't tell the kids but my hubby asked me the same thing in the same situation. I love reading Melissa Foster's stories because they always leave me feeling happy, frisky, free. I'm left with a smile on my face. It is hard to describe except that I'm left feeling joyful no matter what else is going on in my life. I really need this respite from the world or really from my health problems. I'm going through a difficult time and this took me away from my pain and worries for a little bit. I look forward to reading more of her books. I have a couple more that I have agreed to read but then I decided the other day I would have to take a break because of my health. Now, I'm second guessing myself because reading this book made me feel better even if for just a day. I've just had a hard time holding my Kindle for very long and it hurts to type very long on my computer but enough about me and my problems. This is a great book that will take you away from your troubles. You will be left with a smile on your face. Melissa Foster's characters are so realistic that you will feel like a voyeur. While this book is a part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone book. However, I think after you read this one, you will want to read all of the other books. These books are not appropriate for all readers. It contains sexually explicit content. I give this book 5 stars for not only the wonderful writing but also for bringing a smile to my face and letting me escape from my pain for a little while. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

I love that in this book “Dreaming of Love” we get to know more about Emily Braden, I love how driven she is! She is a lot like her brothers. I can imagine that her childhood being a surrounded by only her brothers and her mom must not have been easy.  We also get to know Dae (sigh) the one word that comes to mind is HOT! I love how he lets his true feelings come through and that to me is super hot. About the story itself…well I can tell you that I love all the romance it has. I love a good love story and this is a great one! I don’t want to say much because I don’t want to spoil it. I can say however that I am anxiously awaiting to read the next book in this amazing series. I totally recommend it! If you haven’t read the other books in the series it’s ok. This book can be read as a stand alone book however, I know that once you read it you’ll want to read the others!

Thanks, Beck Valley Books for the privilege of getting to know Melissa Foster through her fantastic writing. Every time I take up one of her books I know I am in for a great romantic adventure. Dreaming of Love was no exception. This story reminded me why she is one of my favourite romance authors. Dreaming of Love, book #19 in the Love in Bloom series tells the story of Emily Braden, the youngest member of the Braden family. She is a successful business woman, but felt that there was something missing from her life. Over the years she has watched her brothers find their soul mates. She is happy for them, but she wishes that she too would one day find such happiness. Her chance of finding this missing piece of her life came when on vacation in Tuscany she met Dae Bray. The attraction between them was instantaneous and electrifying. Dae was not sure what to make of his instant attraction to Emily but the one thing he knew is that he never felt this way about any other woman before. They grew close in a very short time. (I believe that the romantic setting in Tuscany contributed to the whirlwind romance). Although the romantic element of the story moved quickly I found it to be credible. However, the road to true love is not without its obstacles. They are both successful in their respective careers, however, their beliefs when it came to the way buildings are to be treated were different. Emily is an architect and believes in the preservation of buildings and Dae is a demolitionist. When she discovered that he was in Tuscany to destroy a building that meant a lot to the local women she had a hard time dealing with it. She is torn between her fundamental beliefs and her feelings for Dae. Love means meeting your partner half way and finding a common ground. It’s clear she does not view it that way. Will she allow such a simple matter to destroy the very thing she has spent her whole life searching for? Initially Dae came off as a bit overbearing, but as the story progresses it is clear that he is a sweet and caring guy. He is the type of man that most women would find appealing. It was easy to fall in love with him. He, unlike Emily was willing to look past their differences. Overall, I enjoyed this story and I am eager to see what next Melissa Foster has in store for her fans.

The title, Dreaming of Love, makes sense when you discover that the setting of the book is Tuscany - super romantic and fun! This 'Bradens' book focuses on Emily, an architectural preservationist and Dae, a demolition artist, who will be destroying The House of Wishes - an important location to the women of the area. By all accounts, they should probably be mortal enemies but their attraction is undeniable and although Dae likes to believe and play the role of the guy who doesn't fall quickly for women, he falls head over heels for Emily and she does the same for him. Their story of love is fun to follow but the quickness just seems like too much all at once. I love that their professions create conflict because it brings some real-life hardships to the table. You can't help but fall in love with Emily and Dae falling in love - another five star book from Melissa Foster in my opinion!     I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

What do I write about a Melissa Foster book that I haven’t already written? No question in my mind…. she is easily my very favorite romance writer. A friend asks me for a book recommendation and for romance my answer is “anything by Melissa Foster.” Dreaming of Love just added to my serious girl crush/author crush. I did have a moment of “oh my gosh… I don’t like Dae… how could Melissa write him for Emily???” I had read the book blurb… but I still had a moment of “this can’t be right…. Emily’s real true love is going to swoop in and save her from Dae.” But… thank you Melissa…. it was only a moment. I think I just felt like Dae came on a little strong when he and Emily first meet in Tuscany. He seemed too smooth. That feeling about Dae passed quickly as Emily spent a day sightseeing with him. I think like most men (and women too I guess), Dae came on strong when an uncontrollable, unplanned attraction sneaks up. HE wasn’t even sure what came over him. Dae was quickly forgiven by being smart, attentive, thoughtful, and fully focused on Emily’s interests while they took in Italy. The way they saw Tuscany together made me not only want to visit Tuscany myself… but to follow the path they took. And when Dae had to leave Italy before Emily’s trip was over… my heart broke. I felt Emily’s nerves as she wondered if what was between them was real… wondered if Dae would actually be there in CO to pick her up at the airport… if they would feel the same in the real world… and if it all was real, if they would be able to make a life work when the work they were passionate about was at such odds. I have to say… I think one of my favorite parts of the book may have been when Emily called her mother from Italy (forgetting about the time change!). I love that her mom hopped right out of bed, made a cup of coffee, and the two of them had a serious relationship conversation. She didn’t hold back. She didn’t just say what Emily may have wanted to hear. They had an honest conversation. The mother-daughter relationship there was awe inspiring. I love my mom to pieces…. but I would like Emily’s mom to be my fictional adopted mom. And… I’m seriously hoping that once Jake gets his book… and the Braden “kids” have all found their happily-ever-after… that their mom gets a book too. (Melissa Foster? Maybe? Hmm?)

Tuscany. How much more perfect of a setting could you possibly have to fall in love? Emily is a hard working architect who rarely takes time for herself. After her brother surprised her with a dream trip, can she manage to take the time to put down her phone and take in the view? Dae's job is pretty much a polar opposite of Emily's. She builds things up and he tears them down. Dae falls head over heals in love with Emily, but the walls she has put up are solid brick. Can Dae use his extensive skills and break through that wall? Italy is steeped in tradition and superstition. The House of Wishes is scheduled for demolition by Dae, but Emily falls in love with the lore that surrounds the house and the olive tree that grows within its outer wall. Can true love over come such a huge obstacle? Or will everyday work get in the way and spoil it all?

Another Winner! Great read and wonderful story! Finally, Emily gets her chance at love! As the only girl in the Braden siblings, she’s watched four of her five brothers find their “happily ever after” and was beginning to think she wasn’t going to get her turn. Big Brother Wes gifted her a trip to Tuscany as a thank you for planning a very special surprise for his fiance’ Callie and her girlfriends while they were staying at his ranch in Fated For Love. One of my favorite parts of Dreaming of Love was the back story. There’s a community of women that come together for a common cause and unselfishly support and encourage one another during trying times. Sparks quickly fly between Dae and Emily when they meet in Tuscany. They quickly fall in love and it’s tested when their respective careers seem to conflict with one another. Dreaming Of Love was a great read and wonderful addition to the Love In Bloom series.

When I found out that it was now Emily Braden’s turn to fall in love, I was jumping for joy inside my heart. We have read so many books that feature Emily and it seems like she is never going to find the one or have her happy ending that she so much desires and deserves. I knew that her time would come and Dreaming Of Love is that book. It takes place when Emily decides that she is going to head to Tuscany so that she can have some time to herself and reflect. She wants to have fun and experience new things and all that life has to offer. When she meets Dae, her whole world is flipped. She was not in search of anyone on this trip but his sexiness and of course his brain lure her towards him. They both start to win one another over and you can’t help but do a silent cheer for Emily. She deserves someone like Dae. Her happy ending that she has needed throughout the other books is finally here. I love that I have traveled through these characters with reading the series from book number one starting with the snow sisters. I feel like I know everyone on a personal level. This is exactly why I love Melissa Foster and her writings. They make you feel like the people in the books could be one of your friends or even your own sibling that you are wanting to find that happiness and love. Romance novels have always been a weakness of mine, but I never knew that there were so many types of romances out there that could be written about until Melissa Foster. She has taken me through a reading journey through this series, and like I have told her, I hope she never quits writing and ceasing to amaze my soul and heart each and every time that I pick up one of her books. Emily is the sister out of the Braden clan of four others. All brothers! Could you imagine? I never had a brother let alone this many siblings. I am so glad that after seeing four out of the five brothers that she has fall for their love that she finally has her time. Now, there is only Jake left out of the clan. Next book, here we come, right? I love that the Braden brothers have nothing but love and support for their sister. I absolutely loved that this novel did not leave them out of the picture, but the center focus was definitely on Emily. Dae and Emily are a dreamy couple that mature together and of course there was red hotness between them. Why wouldn’t there be? Whew! Melissa always does a great job of inspiring people through her writings and making the reader feel like they could be the ones that are experiencing what the main characters or even side characters are experiencing and feeling. Tuscany was also a great setting for this particular book. Another five star and I can’t wait for the next one

I love Melissa Foster. She writes fantastic stories of people finding the right person, with quite a bit of steam mixed in! However, I have to say that I love love love this book! What could possibly make Emily Braden's story better than to set it in Tuscany? A land of beauty and romance, of architectural and cultural history, where Emily plans to get swept away in the beauty and relaxation of Italy. She meets Dae Bray, who even though he is glorious, is the epitome of everything she fights against in her career. And he's in Italy to demolish an old building that is the centerpiece of the beliefs of the local women. Do they have enough in common to make it work? Or will their differences tear them apart? This is definitely a book that can be read alone, but I definitely suggest you read the whole series! You can't go wrong with any of Melissa's books! I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Damn what is Melissa Foster doing to me, I just can’t get enough of her books. Dreaming of Love is Emily Braden’s story. She is gifted a trip to Tuscany from her brother as a thank you and to be honest she needs this trip to clear her head and stop dwelling on the fact her brothers are all in love and she is still waiting for her true love. Staying in a small villa with only two rooms available she meets the other guest and he has her and obviously us readers practically panting from then on in. These two have an instant attraction. These two are hot together but having jobs on opposite sides of the spectrum it isn’t long before they get in the way. Another well written, fast pacing addition to the Bradens series, I feel like I get to know each character so personally and that is because Ms Foster does a great job.

This story is fast paced and romantic. It sucked me in after the first few pages. The settings and beauty of Italy are well described. It made me jealous and want to be there to experience what Italy had to offer.  Much like our own culture, Italy also has traditions passed down from generation to generation. In this story, there's the myth of the House of Wishes where women go to pray and wish about love, happiness, and miracles. It has been passed down for many years from mother to daughter in the  surrounding locations. A disruption to traditions like this can either make people drift apart or come together.  Melissa did an excellent job with making the characters come to life. Each one had they're distinct personality, and many could be found relate-able. Emily Braden is a successful architect who is hard working and determined. Her brothers are overprotective and have found it's time for her to take a break from her work. It's hard for her because it's not what she's used to. Like many of us, Emily always dreamed of going to Italy. Her brother helps her dreams come true. While there, Emily meets Dae Bray, who is a demolitionist. Dae likes to live in the moment and helps Emily see the small things she's missing. Love can happen fast and one can fall hard. Like many of us, the differences in their lives could keep them apart if they allowed it.    I received this ebook through Beck Valley Books Book Tour to review. All opinions are my own.

This is a great romantic read. Emily Braden is a successful business woman but deep down she knows that something is missing. She dreams of love – the kind she has seen her siblings experience – but isn’t so sure she will ever find it. When she takes a long overdue break in Tuscany, Italy she doesn’t know that fate has a wonderful surprise for her in the form of the charming and sexy Dae. He sweeps her off her feet at first sight and from there on it’s a roller-coaster of such intense emotions I found myself breathless. Infact, it looks like Dae may be the man who will finally persuade Emily to stop the racing and live at a more comfortable pace. Emily and Dae are both passionate about their chosen professions. They have worked hard to get to where they are. The environment they find themselves in is very different to what they are used to. They discover that the residents of Tuscany hold strong traditional beliefs about what the locals call the House Of Wishes. Emily and Dae’s differing perspectives on this look set to threaten their budding romance.  I loved all the characters in the book but I particularly loved Dae. He is strong, masculine, protective but also very romantic in refreshingly unexpected ways. I love how he uses a negative experience from his early life to shape him into an honourable man who respects women. I thoroughly enjoyed Dreaming Of Love. Melissa has an amazing ability to convey the exact mood of a scene with only a few sentences, capturing and holding the reader’s attention. I really don’t want to give too much away so you just have to read the book to find out what I mean.

I love this one so much. I've read some of the other Braden books and felt bad for Emily. I was so glad to see her finally get a shot at love. Their relationship was so so sweet. Dae's line "hand or arm" was the sweetest thing ever and reminded me of my own hunky hero who, even after seen years, still insists on touching me whenever we're walking.  I loved watching Emily really discover things about herself by looking at herself through other's eyes. I can certainly relate on having had to do that a time or twelve! I liked seeing the interaction between her and her brothers and their girlfriends from her perspective as well. Overall, I just loved everything about Dreaming of Love. It was so fun to get to "visit" Italy and read about all the things they experienced. I always fall in love with Melissa's characters. She has a knack for writing realistic, relatable characters that are easy to like and hard to forget.

This time Melissa took us to Tusany, Italy. She made me feel like I was dancing in the Poppy flowers and made me want to made a wish at the Wishing Tree. Dae is such a perfect man for Emily. You will love this book. I can not wait to see where Melissa takes us next time.
