Overview

Jackson Cooper hates magic. Even though his brothers are falling prey to the seductive draw of the paranormal world, Jackson wants nothing to do with it. He also wants nothing to do with marriage, babies, and all that comes with it. He's content with being the stoic, but quiet Uncle Jacks. But when a woman from his past, one he's been dodging for years, comes back to town, Jackson might have to reevaluate his plans.

Honor Bridges is the tooth fairy. Well, not the tooth fairy, but at least one of them. For the past eight years she's been on her own, hiding from what she truly wants. Now she's back in Holiday and ready to take over her duties...as well as deal with Jackson once and for all. But there's another player in town who isn't happy with the decisions she made all those years ago and Jackson might be the one who takes the brunt of that anger.

Warning: Contains a wickedly spicy tooth fairy--complete with sparkly wings, the most tortured of all the Cooper brothers in all his broodiness, and dreams that are sure to make you never want to wake up in this final Cooper Brother’s installment of the Holiday, Montana series.

Dreams of Ivory Book #5 of the Holiday Montana Series by Carrie

Dreams of Ivory Book #5 of the Holiday Montana Series by Carrie Ann Ryan

If you’ve been following this series you can almost guess by the title what the next Magic is. May not be a holiday but’s it’s needed all year round. But of Course the Tooth Fairy. I absolutely enjoyed this book.

Jackson Cooper 38 year old Dentist is the eldest of the Cooper brothers and the last standing as single. Jackson hated magic (yet was surrounded by it) had no desire to take a wife, was not into the kids scene. He liked being Uncle Jack’s just fine. But what none of his brothers knew was 8 years prior he me Honor Bridges while she was visiting her Aunt Clementine in Holiday. They had a summer fling but when Jackson started falling for her he cut it off at the pass. Never introduced her to his brothers and basically sent her on her merry way. But he never really got over her. Thus the reason for his broodiness, scowling facial expressions and his workaholic tendencies.

After 8 years away who shows up at Jackson’s dental practice none other than Honor Bridges. When his receptionist announces he has a visitor who asked for him by name, and when he inquires what the females name is he literally chokes on his coffee. After some brief bantering back and forth Honor leaves his office feeling less than welcomed. But that will not stop her project. She’s made up her mind to tend to unfinished business so she can move on and settle in Holiday. She has a responsibility that she delayed for 8 years and needs to step up to the plate. You see her Aunt is the Ivory Queen and Honor is a tooth fairy.

There is another in town that wants to see Honor gone and will do anything to make her hurt and leave. Even going as far as forcing magic on Jackson in hopes he will blame Honor and turn away from her. All this persons efforts fail miserably, and this is all I’m going to say. If I go further I’ll be giving too much up and I prefer the readers to enjoy all the little surprises as I did when I started reading Jackson’s story. But I have to mention one more little tid bit, I absolutely loved “The Mini Cooper’s” this was just too cute.

I’m sad that I’ll have to wait until 2016 for the “Second Arc of Holiday Montana” but I’m sure it will be worth it. I can’t wait. Carrie Ann I give this book a 5* rating for all the wonderful magic of Holiday.

Holiday, Montana, is a small town that is filled with folks that are touched with magic, and some that are not. Jackson Cooper, the eldest of the Cooper men, hates magic. Like, absolutely loathes it, and wants nothing to do with it. Which is problematic, because all of his brothers and their families are magical in some way. Enter Honor Bridges. Honor's Aunt Clementine is the Queen of the Tooth Fairies, and Honor is a tooth fairy herself. She and Jackson have a past, which refuses to stay buried when she returns to Holiday. Although they try to deny that the spark is still there, it comes roaring to life, stronger than ever. And when Honor becomes the target of someone intent on keeping her from doing her magical duty, things get messy and very dangerous.

It's no secret that I really like paranormal romance. And, when it's a really neat idea, well-executed, with great characters and an engaging plot, I am a happy lady. 'Dreams of Ivory' hits every one of these marks. The plot flows nicely, and, even though I hadn't read any of the previous books in the series, there was plenty of back story that filled in the gaps. The chemistry between Jackson and Honor is super-hot, making for some very steamy scenes. And all of the secondary characters, from Honor's aunt,to Sam the Sandman, to all of the Coopers, wives of Coopers, and mini Coopers, are wonderful. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the world of Holiday, and have every intention of going back to the beginning of the series so that I can meet all of the inhabitants of Holiday. Happily, too, even though 'Dreams of Ivory' is the last of the 'Holiday, Montana' books, Carrie Ann will be introducing an off-shoot of the series in 2016, which I am very much looking forward to.

The fifth book in the Holiday Montana is more surprising than the others and introduces some very interesting characters to this magical town.
Even though his brothers have become part of the paranormal world, Jackson hates magic and wants nothing to do with marriage and babies.  But he has to reevaluate when Honor, an ex-girlfriend returns to town and when he ends up protecting her from someone that didn’t want her to return he finds out that she’s one of the tooth fairies.
The author’s fascinating town just keeps getting more magical with each new addition.  The story comes alive with a vivid details, an intriguing fast paced plot and enchanting characters that grab the reader’s imagination keeps it throughout.
The solution the author came up with for Jackson’s problem with everything magical is very interesting and enjoyable.  Honor is a perfect match for Jackson, making their romance inspiring and clever.  The reader’s imagination is sparked by all the enjoyable and whimsical characters in Holiday, Montana.
I found this book to be a delightful and fun read that was very entertaining from beginning to end with surprising twists and her unique take on mythological people is charming and creative.  I can’t wait for the next story arc to begin and I am a little upset that I will have to wait until 2016 for it, but I am sure the anticipation will be worthwhile.

    Cute and sweet!

This was a cute and sweet story. Jackson and Honor have a history that no one knows about and they get thrown together again when someone tries to hurt Honor. I have really enjoyed this series.

I love visiting Holiday, Montana. Once again Carrie Ann Ryan takes us back to that wonderful, paranormal hot spot with all those sexy Cooper Brothers. This is Jackson and Honor's story. He didn't want love and he didn't want magic. You definitely have to read this book to find out what he ends up with. You're going to LOVE it!

Hmmm.. I dont know how I feel about this..

I was pretty much on pins waiting for this book. But now that I have read it and finished it, I'm a little disappointed. It feels like she rushed to finish this book, everything and I mean everything felt like a big rush of work in my opinion. It was great in the beginning but after the diner scene with Honor and Jackson it went rapidly.

Smh hopefully the next book is better (second arc of the holiday montana books)

I love Jackson! Jackson is the last one in his family to fall to love! Jackson doesn't like magic but sometimes life doesn't care what we want! How will Jackson handle dealing with magic himself and the women he loves returning to town? Our moody Jackson won't know what to do! I love the family dynamics in this series and the chemistry between the characters! Must read!

It is so bitter sweet writing this.  Bitter because it is the last of the Cooper Brother story arc and I do so love me my Cooper brothers.  Sweet because it was made of amazing, drizzled in awesomesauce and sprinkled with spectacular.  Not only do we finally get to see Jackson's story, but we get to see more about all of those steamy brothers.  I will admit it, there is one scene in this book that had me so filled with happy that I actually cried.  Yep, real tears it was so amazingly wonderful.

OK, back to Jackson's story. I always had a soft spot for the eldest Cooper.  Being the oldest, I knew he carried burdens the others could not understand.  I did not, however, realize how deeply he convinced him self that this was how it should/would always be.  Enter Honor, his "could have/should have been" from the past.  Sparks fly, Jackson's world is changed for the paranormal, and adventure ensues.

If you love the Coopers as much as I do, you have to read this book.  If you love hot romances, good teeth, broody males, and a super sweet ending, this book is probably the one for you.  If you have not read the other books in this series, you will probably be fine reading this, but I enjoyed it so much more because I knew all the brothers and their background stories.
