For Tristan and Ushna, nothing comes easy and with each passing day the challenges grow and the dangers multiply. The safe home they are building for their family and tribe is threatened from all sides, and the peace they seek is being torn apart by enemies and internal strife. Tristan dares not reveal his condition to any but those closest to him, all the while he's plagued by dreams he cannot remember upon waking...

And over all of it hangs the knowledge that his time with Ushna is running out. Because Ushna already has a Flame awaiting rebirth, and though Tristan would die to protect that bond, he constantly struggles against his beast who demands they bind Ushna to their side.

Meet the Author

Lexi has always been an avid reader, and at a young age started reading (secretly) her mother’s romances (the ones she was told not to touch). She was the only teenager she knew of who would be grounded from reading. Later, with a pencil and a note book, she wrote her own stories and shared them with friends because she loved to see their reactions. A Texas transplant, Lexi now kicks her boots up in the Midwest with her Yankee husband and her eighty-pound puppies named after vacuum cleaners.

Brief rundown. This is the third book in the series and picks up

Brief rundown. This is the third book in the series and picks up a few days after the end of the last book which was a bit different than the first two. Those were continued right from the previous. Here Tristan is having dreams and waking up confused, upset and losing control of his beast. His beast is wanting to claim Ushna more and more and Tristan doesn’t want to chance  keeping Ushna from financing his true flame in reincarnation. He is farther along in his pregnancy and is preparing for the trip to Georgia to deal with the traitors and take care of the estate for Theo’s kids.
When this one didn’t start of right away with Daniel and why he was a threat at first I was a bit disappointed. Then the action hit quickly and one twist after another revealed more and more about Tristan, Ushna , their flames, Tristan’s being a prince, and more of his men. There is tons of action, loads of suspense all combined with the sexy sensuous romance of Tristan and Ushna. I have fallen deeply In love with both these men.  Fabulous story and now to move on to the fourth… PS You will want to have all of these when you start…
Recommendations: If you like futuristic earth, , fantasy, shifters, Gods and Goddess’s, a bit of suspense, friends becoming lovers, mates, and just a darn super good book. This is a must read
