I love Lois McMaster Bujold's novels and had wanted to read the seminal story for Beta Colony and the future universe in which her Vorkosigan series takes place. The story "Dreamweaver's Dilemma" was intensely satisfying. It is a Sherlock Holmes sort of tale which is improves on that genre because of the profession of dream weaving. While the story "Dreamweaver's Dilemma" is only a preliminary step to the novels Bujold wrote later, she already showed her interests in biology, psychology, humor, and language, especially metaphors.

If you have read any of her books, you will love this!!! If you haven't, you should try this one. It can give you an example of Bujold's style. I LOVE all the "Miles" books. She has just the right amount of suspense, humor, and adventure to keep you on your toes!
