About the Author

Nicholas Kwame Afadzi is a Ghanaian Registered Architect, born in Accra and hails from Ajumako in the Central Region of Ghana.
He completed both his Bachelor of Science in Design in 1989 and Post Graduated Diploma in Architecture in 1991 at the Department of Architecture, University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana.
He taught at the Department of Architecture from 1995 to 1999 before moving to the United States of America to pursue a Master of Architecture Degree at the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After his graduation in 2000, he has worked with SHP Leading Design, an Architectural Firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, till now.

He is an International Associate of the American Institute of Architects and is USGBC’s LEED AP BD+C [‘Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design’, Building Design & Construction] Accredited Professional.

He lives with his wife Esther, and their two children; Bryan and Chelsea in Liberty Township, Ohio.
