Overview

On his seventh studio set, superstar Dutch DJ Tiesto recruited a strong roster of fellow party-starters for the irresistibly mainstream Drive. Comprised of tracks released as early as 2020, the album is a nonstop crowd-pleaser that features the chart-topping singles "The Motto" with Ava Max and "The Business" with uncredited vocals by James "Yami" Bell. Other guests include Tate McRae ("10:35"), A Boogie wit da Hoodie ("Chills [LA Hills]"), Charli XCX ("Hot in It"), Karol G ("Don't Be Shy"), and Black Eyed Peas, who share their track "Pump It"/"Pump It Harder" for "Pump It Louder." "Bet My Dollar," a surprise standout featuring English singer/songwriter Freya Ridings, brings a soulful depth to the otherwise raucous set, while AR/CO enhances the introspective "Back Around." Tiesto has been doing this so long that there are very few surprises on Drive, which provides a dozen additional heart-pumping, body-shaking anthems to his catalog. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
