Author is a spammer.
I had never heard of this book until I got a spam message from the author trying to sell it to me. I would suggest that you do not by this book because to do so would help to enrich someone who contributes to the problem of junk email. The best way to discourage people from sending junk email is to make the result of sending spam injurious, instead of beneficial. Please discourage this spammer by not buying his book. If you're in the market for a book like this, buy one from someone else who writes on the same topic. Tell your friends and family not to buy this book or anything else the author writes.
Here's the junk message I got from the author (my name is not Jerry):
Jerry,
With the holiday season almost upon us, I have to ask - have you thought about what to get those readers in your life? How about those employees that need a little focus and direction? Introduce them to the concept of "Junoon" with my new book - Driven.
Great companies have leaders that not only have a passion for excellence, but have the ability (and desire) to transfer this passion to the rest of the company. Steve Jobs and Herb Kelleher are great leaders, but until they were able to inspire their teams to strive for greatness, not only in their own industries, but throughout the business world, their success was limited. These leaders and others at companies such as Intel and Google have done what few others have ever accomplished - develop a culture that is passionate and emotionally committed to fulfilling the goals of their leaders. These leaders have Junoon - an ancient expression that refers to a very powerful state of achievement.
Whether a student, husband/wife, employee, team leader, department head, owner, or CEO - everyone can benefit from learning the five traits of Junoon. Throughout this easy to read book, I introduce the five traits and share examples from my own life as well as the lives of leaders who have changed the world. Additionally, I provide answers to questions such as these:
What is Junoon?
Where does it come from?
How does it help you become a better leader?
And perhaps most importantly,
How does it keep your own motivation at peak levels and empower you to motivate those around you?
Jerry, you can go directly to Amazon or Barnes & Noble to see reader's reviews and get your copy of Driven. Or visit my website to learn more about me, the book, as well as download a free chapter and a free workbook to use as you read the book.
To your own success,
