Meet the Author

Richard Sullivan began his career in photography at age 15 and went on to major in Fine Art at the State University of New York in Buffalo. His professional credits include an impressive array of major magazines from TIME to the Architectural Digest, to the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine. Since 1973, Sullivan has been wandering the Hawaiian Islands' dead-end roads and overgrown hiking paths in search of secret beaches, hidden waterfalls, and heartpounding scenic vistas.
