Meet the Author

Tami Brothers always wanted to live a fun, sexy and exciting life. But when her clumsiness left her with an aversion to high heels, her fear of wardrobe malfunctions cut out those plunging necklines, and her skydiving instructor politely suggested she take up golf; she decided the only way to keep from breaking her neck would be to write about such a life.

When she’s not glued to her desk typing her “adventures” she’s a wife, mother, Program Manager, runner, reader, scrapbook creator, dog walker, lizard feeder, fish watcher, turtle tank washer and Snow White to the evil queen that runs her house (the rescue kitty who has gladly taken over the castle). In her spare time, she can be found packing a hammer as she attempts to assist her husband and son in building their new house.

    Highly Recommended

Ms. Brothers knows what a short story is - a "short" work of, in this case, fiction that grabs your attention, sets the scene and has you reading to see how it ends. I really enjoyed this breezy, fun read. Not only do the sweets in the bakery sound drool worthy, but so does that special customer! I hope to read another Tami Brothers work very soon.

    Very Sweet Quick Read!

Loved Drool Worthy. I was just getting into the story when it suddenly ended. I wasn't ready to let it go and wished the journey had lasted longer. This was a nice clean read.

    "Short and sweet"

Descriptions of the shop's confections much more interesting than of the characters. The "Hunk" was just that, eye candy with no personality. The baker was bland. The friend, Lizzie, was perky and fun. Perhaps the characters come to life in subsequent chapters..

    Great Short Story

Wish it was longer...Enjoyed the main character's "voice". Engaging story! I look forward to reading more of Tami Brother's work.

    Drool Worthy by Tami Brothers
    A Short Story
Marianne Michaels is busy with her new business, Drool Worthy. Speaking of which, the small towns most wanted bachelor, Jason Alexander, fits that description pretty well. Women threw themselves at the guys feet and even proposed to him. She was glad to be busy with her business and away from all that craziness.

This is a very short story that touches slightly on a romance to come. Caution: You may not want to read this if you are hungry. The mention of some of the goodies she's baking may have you reaching for something to munch.

This came to a screaching halt right in the middle of a thought. It's like the author forgot to finish. Not worth it at free. JS

This was a very short quiet story. The names of the store are really quiet and how they used it in the story was very clever. It was short and left me wishing for more
