One of our smartest contemporary thriller authors.... A series of explosive events marks the books conclusion.... Complex, smartly-navigated plotting.
Examiner.com - Lynn Farris
An excellent whodunit.... A powerful book to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and believe that readers of all political persuasions will like it as well. I wouldnt be surprised to see this as an upcoming movie. Five stars out of five.

As a reviewer, I am always looking for an author to capture me. After reading Drop By Drop, my only complaint is that Raffel only wrote two previous books. all three of his books captivated me on page one and left me wanting more at the end. His characters are people I would like to invite to dinner, and his plots are interesting and easy to follow. In DROP BY DROP we are drawn in to Sam Rockman's life immediately. He wants revenge for a personal tragedy and accepts an offer to return to Washington D,C. And work for the Senate Intelligence Committee. With the help of a Kentucky Senator and his wife's former rabbi, he tries to exact vengeance while saving the country from more terrorism. With poison, secret documents and nuclear material thrown into the mix, it is definitely difficult to put this book down!

Well done thriller about shenanigans in DC. It had everything it needed to make it good.. suspense, betrayal, death of innocents.. and a really bad bad guy. All pulled together wine enough twists to make it intriguing. Don't miss it. I will be looking for more by this author .

DC based thriller ripped, as they say, from the headlines of the day. With unexpected twists at the end. Leaves you waiting to see what happens to the principal characters at the end. Sequel?

This was an average read. The writing was standard, not the smooth flow that I like. At tlmes I thought it was too verbal and not enough action. Any action was bland an unexciting. I did like the characters of Rachel and Sam, and was not expecting for Rachel to die in that manner and so soon into the story. There was a couple of surprise twists and turns that gave this story some much needed drama. Despite some negative comments, I will still recommend this book. Its readable.

Predictable when not bizarre and unbelievable.

231 pages. Possibly because the minutiae of politics is boring to me, this story did not begin to capture my interest until half way through. And by then it was easy to guess who the main enemy was. The concept was solid but had to force myself to stay with it.

Thought this book was fascinating and kept me intrigued. Gave an insider's approach to the war on terror. You won't be disappointed.

Spike rushed out the door, heart pounding. He was paralyzed at what he saw. It looked like Rarity, but way different. Almost like Nightmare Moon. This form of Rarity froze when she saw Spike. Her little Spikey-Wikey.... 'NO! But i cant hurt him... its Spike' Thought Nightmare Rarity. Shaking her head, she ran about the town, wrecking havok." Rarity! Is that you?!" Rainbow Dash called. Nightmare Rarity spun around.' She was ignoring me earlier... but with my new powers... it worked!!' She thought to herself. Then she had a wicked idea. Laughing maniacly, she teleported Rainbow Dash somwhere... who knows where.... but it was somewhere Nightmare Rarity knew she would stay put. Soon all her friends were teleported. All but Twilight and Spike... " Rarity! I know your in there! Break free!" Twilight called." Never!" Nightmare Rarity screeched. She nearly teleported Twilight, but Spike jumped in front of her. ZAP! Spike went instead. Furious, Nightmare Rarity nearly killed Twilight. But she dodged. Hours passed, and finally Twilight was too weak and tired to defend herself.
