the first sentence gets you hooked and keeps your attention for the entire book. Bitty and Trinket are a hoot...bless their hearts.

Trinket had absolutely no trouble staying out of trouble for most of her life but since she's moved back home it all just seems to be tearing down her door. Of course, she'll readily admit that most of it centers around her cousin, Bitty. Bitty knows no such thing. It's not her fault that she's being accused of murder, for the second time in less than a year. Nor was it Bitty's fault, that the corpse was shot at the funeral. Oh, and the food fight at the Diva meeting? Well, that just wasn't how it seemed... Ugh, Trinket has her work cut out for her this time... Maybe she should find a hobby or a job so she's not quite so available when Bitty wants to investigate.

Just as good as the first book. There's a scene that not only has you rolling on the floor - after catching your breath - you have to read it again! I'm waiting the the next installment.

Harriet klausner just has to ruin a book with her cliff note plot spoilers. This poster should be banned from posting and all her so calked reviews deleted. She delights in revealing every detail of a book.

"Who cares?" Rainbow said, rolling her eyes." Anyways, bad news is Celestias been turnee to stone." Everypony gasped." Why cant you fix her with your magic?" Asked Pinkie. Luna sighed." Its a nearly permanant spell. The worse bews is, Nightmare Raritys loose again, and she seemed to be heading to Los Pegasus this time." Fluttershys eyes widend." Los Pegasus?!" She gasped." Derpy is vacationing there! Remember, Dashie?" Suddenly Rainbows eyes widened in fear, too." No! How dare Rarity go there! She'll destroy everything, including Derpy and everypony else if we dont move fast!" Twilights horn glowed, and they were teleported to Los Pegasus.
meanwhile...
Rarity flew fast as lightning. Turning Celestia to stone made her even more powerful. Now that Celestia was gone, it would be forever night, making it eaisier for her to sneak around. Finally she stopped to rest for the night, laying down in the middle of a wide feild. A shooting star passed overhead, and the real Rarity inside wished only to be good again. Slowly closing her eyes, the Nightmares dreams were filled with evil plots and fire... burning buildings... and suddenly she felt something kick her in the side. Firing a Stone spell, she jumped to her hooves, ready to battle whatever had disturbed her.

The dozen Dixie Divas travel from their hometown of Cherryhill, Mississippi to visit historical Holly Springs to help a fellow spirit in trouble with the law. Notorious back home for their misadventures caused they insist by mixing chocolate with alcohol, the stiletto heeled aging southern-belles are musketeers with one for all and all for one. In spite of "Bitty" Truevine shouting in a public café where gossip roams faster than Twitter that the slut needs to be strangled, the sisterhood posses come to the aid of bad girl Naomi Spencer, who's in trouble with the law. Led by the Truevine siblings, "Trinket" and Bitty, the crew plans to take the town by storm by trying to prove Naomi is innocent of murdering her fiancé, drag racing superstar Race Champion. Naomi swears she has done a lot of questionable things in her life, but being a slut does not include homicide of especially someone she relishes going around the track with her style. However, even before the dozen can drink a ton of martinis, someone kills Naomi. The Divas investigate the two homicides while turning upside down the town of Holly Springs. Having solved one mystery (see The Dixie Divas), the amateur sleuth crew feels invincible as each of them believes they are a cross between Steel Magnolias and Helen Reddy's I Am Woman. Amusing and eccentric, readers who enjoy a lighthearted regional murder mystery will want to accompany the dirty dozen as they investigate two murders upsetting everyone in their path including a killer, sip martinis, and chow on chocolate.
