If youre wondering why you should pay for this when the dropbox app is free, its because this app automatically copies your files into the proper locations. you have to individually doenload each file one by one when using dropbox. This works so much better!

Drop2sync allows users to send files to the Nook Color via Dropbox with very little effort. Drop the files into the drop2sync folder inside the Dropbox folder on your computer, tap a button on the Nook Color, and DONE! I have been using this app to send epub short stories to my Nook Color for reading and light editing, and it works like a charm. If I could add another star to the 5 that I'm giving this app, I would, because the developers were very responsive when I sent them a question via their website.

Very easy to sign up for dropbox and then set up drop2sync. Had it done and files on my Nook in less than 10 minutes. Looking forward to using it for library books. I would love to see a feature added so that files that I delete from dropbox are deleted from my Nook but that doesn't stop me from giving this 5 stars. I can now put library books on my Nook without connecting to my computer so it's not really a problem to connect later to delete them.

I have only owned this App for about an hour and have become enthusiastic about using it. I have used Drop Box for a long time to share photos and video clips with family and friends so finding an App for the Nook Color was great. If you do not use a "cloud" service you can easily set up Drop Box by following the Guided Setup. The set up process is easy; read the information then tap the buttons! Note: read the information provided in the Guided Setup and be sure you have the general concept in mind then tap the buttons to perform the tasks.
This App allows you to set automatic synchronization or just sync when you tap the App. This is very thoughtful on the developer's part as it saves battery energy for reading books.
I am very pleased with the MS Docs and Spreadsheets that are now easily loaded on my Nook Color. Pictures and videos will also sync but I have not done that yet as I already side loaded those via the USB cable. I may not have to connect via the USB cable again!

This is an extremely useful tool to have on the Nook Color. I love the ability to download & sync library books without having to attach a USB cable to my computer! Hopefully in the near future the developers will include a way to sync to specified folders rather than the default one it goes to for all books. And perhaps, offer an android version for those of us that dual boot into CM7. Aside from these two minor items, the app does what it is suppose to and support from the developer is fantastic.

I previously had a Sony E-reader. I had little over 30 e-books that I was unable to transfer to my Nook Color due to the protection on the e-books. The drop2sync allowed me to be able to transfer the e-books onto my Nook Color. I needed help with the process and emailed Whitney. The response and tech support did not even take a day. I'm very impressed with this program and highly recommend it.

Completely eliminates the need for a flash drive or having to plug in my Nook to a computer to transfer files. Fantastic app.

This is a great app, especially if you have a Nook Tablet, which the Dropbox app won't work on. But as the description says, it doesn't work with library books. Other reviews say it does, but I can't figure out how they made it work. My only other complaint is that it copies epubs into My Files instead of the main library, but likely that is because of the Nook software and not the app. Still quite useful!

Since Dropbox doen't work on Nook like it does on laptops I tried this hoping it would solve the problem. Unfortunately it doesn't. I have thousands of files in hundreds of folders. Drop2sync just dumps every file into documents and does not copy the folders they belong in. Instead of your files organized the way you have them in Dropbox they are all just thrown together. If you have just a few files to go to documents, books, music, etc. this does a great job. It is easy to set up and use. It is very fast. I will still use it for a quick sync of a few of files. Just don't expect it to sync your folders along with your files. If they fix this I will give it 5 stars. For now its very limited usefulness only rates 3 stars. I hope they improve it soon.

Excellent app for getting your files to exactly the right folders, and used by the correct apps. I really like that I can specify that the files will be wirelessly synced to my removable memory card.
I had a slight problem with the app initially, which had to do with my trying to load again a photo that was already on the Nook. The app was telling me that it could not do so. . . . and I thought it was a problem with loading files to the removable memory.
I contacted the developer, and within about 5 minutes, support was being offered! Very impressed with the customer service, as well as this excellent app.

I am struggling with this. I drop my files according to directions and when I try to open them on my Nook I get an error message saying wrong format. My documents are Word docs so I am bewildered.

Very user friendly. Allows me to take work home to read without having to open my laptop. Which now that I think about it I'm not sure is a good thing LOL.

I transfer numerous files to my tablet for portable reference and client meetings. For 2 bucks this little app does this without a wire, or even having the tablet nearby and/or turned on. A convenience that's well worth the money.

This app works fine to transfer files across platforms, but not only that, through it I have come to use and appreciate the "cloud-type" storage possibilities which it relies upon. This enables lots of things: sharing with others, omni-access, and a great plus of being able to email a file to the cloud and thus have it accessible to everyone I want (but only those I want). Hats off!

It is useful if you just want to transfer documents. Otherwise I suggest directly connecting it to your computer to transfer files.

I realize that this app helps so many pc users. However, what about those on othet platforms. We need a way to effortlessly transfer files, books, etc from one platform device to another. Especially if you can not usb them together. If mankind can locate a dime on pavement in NY from space, can,t also solve this little issue?

Great app to transfer files to your nook... a little complicated to follow the steps when setting it up online but once you understand the process, it is fairly easy to use.

I'm so glad this app exists. I love that it sorts the files for you BUT it puts my .pdf files into ebooks which isn't a huge deal. Not sure how I could differentiate between a pdf that I want in with the files and a pdf ebook. Looking forward to updates but as it is now it is really very helpful!
