Super read - Even for a guy!

First off, I'm a guy, a guy's guy, you know? And, my wife and I were on vacation and I didn't bring a book with me. Well, my wife, Michelle, just finished this book she called a women's fiction book and said that I could read it if I wanted to. I kind of hate to say this but the author's writing was so good it kept me in the story and then there's this husband who, as I read, felt a little like me. And, I was hooked! The story is full of danger but, like, relationship danger and I kind of got lost in the story and before I knew it, I'd finished. The ending will grab you by the throat too so watch out. Wow. Never thought I would like a girl's read but this one was fantastic.

    No comparison

I have read every book written by Jodi Piccoult and Kristin Hannah. They are brilliant writers! To compare their books to this book is ludicrous! No comparison at all. I hope the author.has another job because she will not make it in this field.

I read this book in two sittings. Not only did I connect with the protagonist, I thought that she handled herself very well throughout the book, even under the pressure. I could sense Euly’s emotions as she struggled with her mother’s death and her failing marriage, yet was relieved as she made good decisions about her own live. No life runs smoothly and perfectly, but Euly was able to hold herself together through everything. Great book.

    Amazing Read - highly recommend

I set this book down after reading the last words and I was weeping. This is a profoundly moving story about a mother and her daughters, especially Euly. Not only have I fallen in love with this story but the author as well. I'll be following Susan Wingate's work for years to come.

    Proofreader's Nightmare

I am only 20 pages in and am already irritated by the typos. The print is huge so the 119 page book is really more like a short story.

    Disappointed

Although there were parts of this book that I truly enjoyed, the plot was confusing and very fragmented. I'm an avid reader and I thought this book was terrible!

    Not a Fan

Whoever put this book in a league with Maeve Binchy was just way wrong. I've read every Binchy book and loved everyone, and I'm so sad there will be no more. Really, the only good thing I can say about this book is that it was short (123 pages). Thank goodness! It was a convoluted mess of words. It had characters that came out of no where and you never found out who they were and the characters that could be defined were not likeable...none of them. Would definitely not recommend.

    Not worth the .99.

This is not one of those "can't put it down" books. Rather, I wondered why I continued to waste my time reading this. Very pooly written - didn't anyone proof read this before posting this as a "book"? Boring, predictable, and disjointed. NO comparison to Jodi Picoult. What a lie that was

    After awhile, it got boring!

The first chapter with the little girl caught me! Made me buy it, but then as I read, I realized this book wasn't what I thought it was. It was boring and the plot was stupid. I get that it is a mother/daughter story but come on... zzzzzzz. I didn't even finish it, I removed it from my library.
