Barnes & Noble - Tracy E. Hopkins
After flamboyant soul man Sisqo scored multi-platinum success with his solo debut, Unleash the Dragon -- thanks to the irrepressible "Thong Song" -- the future of his group Dru Hill seemed uncertain. But after Sisqo's prolonged 15 minutes of fame came to a screeching halt with the sophomore flop Return of Dragon, the singer's return to his roots -- even if he's a little ego-damaged -- makes perfect sense. Dru Hill's eagerly anticipated third album, Dru World Order, reveals that not much has changed about the Baltimore collective's Jodeci- and gospel-inspired harmonies since Sisqo, Woody, Jazz, and Nokio last groaned not-so-sweet nothings on 1998's Enter the Dru. And with the addition of a fifth member, Scola, there's just more for the ladies to love. Produced primarily by Nokio who's also worked with Mya, the album features sexy ballads such as "Xstacey Jones" and "She Said," featuring Chinky from Sisqo's girl group LovHer; gritty urban grooves such as the Asian-flavored "On Me," featuring rapper N.O.R.E.; and the let-me-steal-you-from-your-boyfriend plea "I Should Be..." Let's just hope that Sisqo realizes that he'll have a longer-lasting musical legacy with Dru Hill and decides to stay put.
All Music Guide - John Bush
After Sisqó's solo debut pushed two big hits "Thong Song," "Incomplete" to the top of the charts, it appeared Dru Hill was going to have to recruit a replacement for its best-known name. When the group finally returned in 2002, though, it not only welcomed Sisqó back to the fold but added a member Skola to make the group a quintet. The third album, Dru World Order, proves the group possesses as much talent as any of their contemporaries in the R&B world. First of all, it's largely self-contained; Nokio produced over half the album, and much of the songwriting was kept in-house as well. And with the gospel fervor of new addition Skola, Dru Hill sounds stronger and smoother than it has in the past. The single "I Should Be..." is solid, if a little in the line of standard material for them, but "On Me" featuring N.O.R.E. and "Old Love" are two of the most inspired songs they've ever recorded. The songwriting tends to similar themes, as do the songs themselves, but having the most polished harmonies on the R&B block makes Dru Hill capable of smoothing over any of the rough spots on Dru World Order.

    Two words.......

AMAZING. For those who are long time Dru Hill fans, this is a refreshing blend of both the first and second album. With the old cast of Jazz, Nokio, Woody, and Sisqo back on the scene, along with newbie Scola, they set this album ablaze. For those of you who have been set onto Dru Hill via Sisqo's "Thong Song", this will be a rude awaking into what R&B is supposed to be and where it is going. Raw, real, and hot. Don't expect to be shaking your tush to pant-droppin' lyrics...instead embrace the subtle lyrical value and the true beauty of REAL, QUALITY music. As the great Duke Ellington once said, "There is only two kinds of music...good music and bad music..." Well, this is "good" music, but don't take my word for it.

The Return of the Best Male Group after BoyzIIMen

This cd is awesome. I listen to it all night long. This cd shows that just because a group is off the scene for awhile and some of them go solo doesn't mean that it will be that way all the time.Dru World Order is here and lets go and support them.

    DRU HILL IS BACK

Tell Me, Sleeping In My Bed, and These Are The Times are just a few of the hits that we have all come to know and love. Who can we contribute the honor to, well Dru Hill. After a long break as a group and many of the members going off to do their solo thing, Dru Hill is back together plus one, Scola. Their new CD Dru World Order has been highly anticipated by many critiques and fans such as myself. The cd is bananas and the fellas have done me proud. THEIR HOT

Dru Hill has really made their fans wait for four years...WORTH THE WAIT. I love the CD especially the ballads which they are known for. One song really sticks which is called "I Do"(Millions). That song is going to be some one's wedding song that's how strong and emotional it is. The new member Scola fits right in with them. Their voices are even stronger now. Overall, the CD is a passionate and love CD.

    Dru Hill Is Back

Dru Hill's CD is off the hook!! Even with the new guy, Scola, they still have the same great sound. My favorite song is "I Should Be." I love Dry Hill and I think they are the best male group ever.
