Carrie agreed only to find herself drugged, naked and restrained, with who knows what ahead of her in the study she’d signed up for.

Excerpt:
Carrie was pulled from her sleepy drugged state by a strong light focused on her eyes. She fought to stay asleep, but there were voices calling to her, and speaking her name.

“She’s coming to doctors.” A woman’s voice echoed, like she spoke from an empty bathroom.

Carrie blinked wanting to go back to sleep and push the light from her eyes, but something was restraining her arm movement. She looked over to see that her arm was strapped to a board. She attempted to sit up, but she was restrained. Carrie looked down to see that her legs were each confined in articulated braces that now held her legs up, as if she were in an upside down crouching position, and she was completely naked.

“She’s beautiful.” An unfamiliar male voice said.

“Yes, I almost kept her for myself.” Carrie heard Dr. Jay’s voice comment.

Carrie searched the room for the familiar voice, but she couldn’t find it. All she saw was a woman dressed in a white coat.

“It’s OK dear. You’re under the care of the top physicians in the state. This might seem a little strange, but many people, including myself, would pay a lot of money to be in the place you are in right now.” The woman in white spoke in low tones, her voice still echoing off the walls.

Carrie tried to focus, but her head still swam from the drug that Dr. Jay had given her.

“Begin the treatment now.” Dr. Jay’s voice boomed.

Carrie looked for Dr. Jay, but still couldn’t find it.

The woman in white moved to Carrie’s feet, running her hand down Carrie’s naked body as she walked. The woman in white took up her position between Carrie’s legs and started to attach wires to Carrie’s most intimate places.
