Editorial Reviews

Internet Book Watch
Is there a connection between ancient Celtic myths and legends and modern readers? Maya Sutton and Nicholas Mann's Druid Magic blends Celtic myths with modern spiritual lessons and activities, teaching the basicsof Celtic spirituality and magical rituals and showing how to incorporate the magical symbols and tools of Celtic mythology into daily living. Packed with applications advice, this will appeal to prior readers of Celtic mythology and magic. Reginald Crosley's Vodou Quantum Leap (173-2, $16.95) draws some important connections between alternate realities and mysticism. It's unusual to find a discussion of Afro-Haitian spirituality, modern science and East/West spirituality written by a doctor: this provides a fine survey of quantum physics, mysticism and spiritual worlds.

I am definitely considering taking the Druid path.

I have always been fascinated with magic and the occult, and being of Celtic heritage myself, I just had to read this book. I'd like to thank the authors for writing this inspiring piece of work. I am learning how to celebrate Celtic festivals, contact my ancestors, and so much more! For practice, research, or if you're just plain curious, I recommend Druid Magic.
