Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
This guide tackles DSL issues well, but it is too jargon-laden to be useful to novices. Also, much of the content will be irrelevant to single-computer home users (for whom DSL for Dummies, although now somewhat dated, is a better choice). The recent meltdown of Excite@Home's broadband Internet service and the well-publicized woes of cable companies transferring customers to their own networks, however, should boost DSL, so public libraries in areas where the service is available can expect demand.
