    Wonderfully done

I was half way expecting a cheesy retelling if the old ugly duckling fairy tale, but was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was the fairy tale aspect well imagined, the Master/slave RELATIONSHIP was expressed in terms of more than just a kink or a sex-fest. This was the first book by this author I have read and I look forward to reading more.

This story takes you into the world of Subs and Doms in an interesting way. Shapeshifting Avian species pecking order, who rules over who and what happens when elders declair the wrong title/species for an ugly duckling who hasn't grown into his true feathers.

Love rules the day, but it takes awhile for those involved to understand that love does rule!

    Great read

I love this book. It was hot, sexy and very, very sweet. An unusual combo for a bdsm book but so well done. I fell in love with both main characters. The author shows that there is such strength in both Dom and Sub, especially with love. I highly recommend it and cannot wait to read the next in the series, Magpie.

Dare tells a thrilling story with fully developed characters. A great storyline and written well enough to pull you in, even if it's not a familiar subject. Loved the contrast between Ori and his master along with the cultural subtext in this novel. Thanks to my friends who recommended this author. I look forward to reading more of Dare's books.

This is the first book from this author that I have read and I LOVE it! It wasn't just about kink sex but shows the dynamics of the bond between a sub and a dom, the trust and love they have for one another. I could not put this book down even for a second. Can't wait to read what other stories this author has out!

    Romantic Conqwest

Ori is extremely lovable in all his naive innocence. A hard to put down story once you start reading and a longing for more of what's to come.
