    A New Series

    Another new series by Melanie Jackson, author of the Chloe Boston Mystery Series, is something to look forward to. I loved Due North. From the quirky town and it's quirky characters to it action story line, I was won over immediately. I highly recommend this book. Now, if only the next book is as good as the first...

    A must read of a new series. A chance to be at the start.

    I love Melanie Jackson's series of books, from the Wildside to the Divine, from her Dream books to her Chloe Boston books. This heroine is a more vulnerable character than her others, but no less capable. She was an 18 year old college student, running from the law for a crime she did not commit. That was before. Now she has reinvented herself as Butterscotch Jones and has found refuge in a small, off-the-map village in Canada. A plane crash and a dead body with duffle bags stuffed with money and gold threaten her safe haven. And now there is a Mountie staying with her, wanting her to help him solve the crime. YES!!!!!! This could have been a fluffy bit of a cozy, but with the expert writing of Melanie Jackson, this is a wonderful dark romp through the frozen north.
