    An original debut

Dumbarton Ghosts contains off-beat, affectionate stories. Diverse characters-- dairyland clowns, affluent suburbanites, and an altruistic aunt with a strange boarder--experience passage and resolution in this collection. Incubus is a compassionate page turner about the onset of mental illness.

    Dumbarton Ghosts

I liked that the stories seem supernatural, but weren't really. Stange things happen, but nothing that really couldn't happen.

    Dumbarton Ghosts

So I took a chance on the book. Actually really interesting. There's a lot of dreamy writing, and some clever endings. I loved the story about the Black Sabbath worshipper.
