Overview

Christie Ann Francis named for her mole finds a baby in a dumpster at an abortion clinic where she had her own abortion done and falling in love with it decides to raise her. Along the way she meets many friends, many of whom also die in various ways including several who are very close to her.

Then she looked into the tragic eyes of her dear little daughter and saw the emotional pain was more than the physical pain by far and her heart broke, the same as it had that day that seemed not long ago when she walked to Doctor Fyck's office unaware how far along she really was and how tiny Christie Ann really would be because of her near constant use of marijuana, and how tragic her little underweight body seemed lying there in the trash atop a Captain Crunch box, all slimy and bloody; and helpless too. How very close she had come to murder one that day in May; May 13 if she remembered right, twenty -two years ago, and here it was about to repeat itself again.

Meet the Author

UC was born in Gemmel a town in northern Minnesota so small it was not even listed as the place of his birth on his Birth Certificate, but moved to Bemidji when he was a year old. He attended school there, and went to college there and in West Des Moines, Iowa. But he spend quite a bit of his life in Minneapolis and St. Paul where he worked as an electrical installer and store clerk, and even a gas station or two.

He suffered a major breakdown and has only recently recovered to the point of doing what he loves most, to write, and to write even more. Mentally enhanced now he and his cat live in a small apartment in Bemidji, where he loves and loves to live with his many friends including his significant friendship with a girl half his age.

People say there is not much that goes on that far north but he finds it quite the opposite. Life can be lived most anywhere if you don't drop the ball entirely, and even at his age, 62 years and counting.

    Tough to follow

This story has large run on sentences and left me feeling annoyed. If you like enjoyable stories with a plot and correct punctuation don't read this. Glad it was free. Wish I could get paid for time I wasted on this...
