I read Damon, the first book in this paranormal romance series when I received my Kindle in 2011 and have been consumed with the series since then. Jared came a long next and stole my breath. I had been waiting anxiously for Duncan’s book and it was worth the wait! This book has everything. It is nerve wracking, passionate, exciting, fun and sad at times. I am confident you will enjoy this book and if you have not read it yet, the entire series. Reader warning: Be prepared to laugh, cry, and fall in love with The Protectors of the Vampire Council and their mates! The really great news is there is more to come!
Teresa Gabelman is a wonderful author and when I read her books I feel like I am right there with her wonderful Warriors and their sassy mates! Can you tell that I loved this book? I only hope she is writing frantically to get Sid to me. :)

This latest episode in the Protectors series focuses mainly on Duncan and Pam, being the third in the series it
really does help if you have read Damon and Jared previously as there is a lot of backstory that isn't filled in,
you could read this and enjoy it, but it's a lot more fulfilling having read the other two.
Duncan is the leader of this band of Vampire Warriors and during the three months that have passed since the
end of Jared and the disappearance of Pam, he has focused everything on finding her, his mate, no matter her
condition he just loves.
Pam has gone through so much since we met her at the start of Damon, losing a part of herself as she suffered
what Kenny did to her, not wanting to put her friends or the vampire she loves at risk she has stayed in hiding,
but now back with Duncan she is beginning to become more herself, the power of love is an amazing thing.
I love the interaction between the Warriors themselves and the women, who knew that big tough Vampire
Warriors would watch cooking shows, but make sure you don't tease Sid about it because he could still rip
your head off if he doesn't like you.
I can't wait to see what happens between Slade the new doctor and Jill there is definitely a story to be told.there.
And Sid and Adam working together should provide some interesting turns of phrase. It was wonderful to go
back and visit with old friends Nicole and Damon and Tessa and Jared, but is everything going to work out.
I am going to be anxiously awaiting new instalments in this series that has me hooked on the Vampire
Warriors and women who love them but I don't know if they will ever be tamed, that is the women of course,
the Warriors are totally under the thumb of their women.

Man I seriously love this series! I kid you not, as soon as I finished the blog tour for Damon and Jared, I immediately started this one and then moved on to book 4, Sid. The characters were at times, sexy, funny, intense, and those VC Warriors are all ALPHA MALE! This book was a definite page turner and I found it very difficult to put down my tablet.
Duncan is intense and protective but Pam doesn’t let him walk all over her either. She stands up to him when necessary. In fact, all of the women of the VC Warriors have one thing in common, they have a back bone. Teresa writes strong women who of course have flaws (which only makes them feel more real) but stand up for what they believe in. I love this as it definitely complements the personalities of the warriors. All of the characters are interesting and engaging.
I loved being pulled into The Protectors world and I really hope that there is more in the series (or a spinoff) because I felt like some of the secondary characters have unfinished stories. The story line had me on the edge of my seat, anxious to find out what was going to happen next but also had me laughing at the banter or had my toes curling at some seriously steamy scenes. If you haven’t read any of the books in the series, don’t wait! ALL of them are fantastic. 5 out of 5 stars!!!

An emotional story, that tugs at the heart!
Teresa Gabelman’s VC Warriors are lovable, charming, dangerous and so damn sexy too! Damon with his fiery hair trigger temper, Jared’s saucy wicked charm and even Sid with his in your face, smart mouth and inappropriate comments. But it’s Duncan their leader, with his sense of duty and allegiance to his Warriors, and his dedication to the protection of innocents who has left readers knowing that his story would be loaded with emotion and turmoil.
Duncan is known for his composed personality and logical approach to any obstacle put in his path, but when his woman goes missing, his self-control is tested and rationality is no where to be found.
While Pam is gone, Duncan is a volatile, irrational powder keg waiting to explode.
Pam is a tormented soul; a survivor of horrific torture, inflicted by a person she thought had loved her. Pam fled to protect the people she loves and to prevent a backlash against the warriors who attempted to save her, she’s running, hiding from her past yet living with the nightmares that will never be forgotten.
But you can’t run forever, and Pam’s need to stop the monster stalking her has forced her to contact a friend, and allowed Duncan to track her down. So Pam needs to be prepared, because now that he has her, Duncan will never let her go, even when he discovers there was more to Pam’s reason for leaving than anyone could have presumed.
As much as I have loved all three books in The Protectors, Duncan is by far the most emotionally heartbreaking, yet truly enthralling of the series to date.

I received a copy from the author for an honest review.
I adored Kim and Duncan’s story and for those of you looking for the new character, Slade is HAWT!!!! The love and connection those two have is undeniable and Duncan will go thru whatever measures he has to, to save the one he loves. But will Kim be able to return to the life she once knew and how forgiving will everyone be? What secrets that Kenny has held close will be revealed? This story has kept me on the edge of my seat, laughing and crying at so many points. The Warriors are the funniest characters and the bantering back and forth between them shows what a true brotherhood and family really is. This is one of those series that will hold you captive till the next story comes out.

If you guys haven't read the first two books, well you need to. This is such an amazing series. I couldn't wait for Duncan & Pam's story. I was battling myself the whole time I was reading it. Do I want to keep turning the pages because it is just sooooooooooooooo good, or do I want to go slower so it doesn't end. Duncan is absolutely lost without Pam, and once she returns he doesn't want to let her out of his sight, and he's dying, as well as the other Warriors, to get revenge for what's happened. We are also introduced to another Warrior, Slade, who is a Doctor as well. I know the next book is about Sid, and I'm absolutely looking forward to it, but I also hope Slade & Jill get a book soon too. The Warriors are HYSTERICAL, I definitely laughed out loud quite a few times, and my hubs just looked at me like I was crazy, lol.
I cannot wait for the next book, I highly recommend this series. It has everything; sexy vampire warriors, lots of action, hot sex, an amazing plot, and the warriors are funny.

I finished Duncan yesterday - the third book in The Protector Series by Teresa Gabelman. To say this was the best book in the series is an understatement. Teresa wrote this book from her heart and it definitely shows - it will have you feeling all the pain that Duncan is going thru since Pam disappeared 3 months ago - it will have you crying tears of happiness when he finally finds the love of his life - it will have you crying and going through all the pain and horror that Pam went through under the hands of Kenny - you will want to reach into the book and grab Kenny and well you will want to just mess him up - you will laugh at Jared and laugh at Sid's jokes - Teresa even throws a surprise into the mix when Pam comes home. Teresa's writing is such that you feel like you are in the room with all of them - from the homecoming to the ooh la la lovemaking to the fights. Teresa has definitely outdone herself. I love all the books in this series but I have to say that Duncan is by far my favorite.
Would I recommend this book to everyone? You bet I would. It is definitely a must read. If we could give 10 stars this would definitely be the one to get them. Thank you Teresa for an awesome book.
