    It's a freakin' comic book!!

How did I miss seeing that this is a comic book? What a total waste of money. I guess the cover art should have warned me.

    You need to read this!

Despite being based on 4th edition D&D (I'm old and set in my ways, give me 2nd and 3rd edition), this is a comic that does the table top RPG some serious justice. The art is great and I was surprised by the overall story. The characters are well developed (I even liked the dwarven paladin and I'm a long time hater of paladins), and the plot is engrossing. It should appeal to gamer geeks and comic geeks alike.

    Great fantasy comic

Love the story itself but the addition of the scenarios to play an actual campaign is awesome.

    Great fun!

This first collection of IDW's new Dungeons &Dragons comic is something that fans of D&D will love. John Rogers (writer of tv series, Leverage) captures adventure and humor in a manner that will leave you wanting more.

This has appeal for a narrow group of people, that being said, as a former DM, I wish I'd had players that could think this well. Characters are just great, only regret is that side stories were never completed. I've got three books and I don't know the hinted at details of why this group is together, I like a finish to a story, this may never get one. Great story, action, and art.
