Meet the Author

Entering my third year at Duquesne University, I am thankful for having the opportunity to write for College Prowler. I was amazed by much of the information I unearthed. I now feel more knowledgeable about Duquesne and my hometown of Pittsburgh than I ever thought possible. I am also grateful for having this chance to see my name and work appear in a national publication.I hope to enter into law school with my background in political science and English. I am thoroughly enjoying these two majors as well as the entire college experience at Duquesne. If all goes as planned (as I have learned sometimes does happen), College Prowler will only be the first in a long stream of publications. It never hurts to dream. Given that writing has become my true passion, I am again grateful for this opportunity to help make a prospective college student's task of choosing the right school a little less daunting. I certainly hope you have enjoyed reading this guide, had a few laughs along with me, and learned a little bit of otherwise unknown information. I wish you well on your college career, no matter where it may take you.Enough about me and my self-absorbed commentary, however. Many people have affected my life in more ways than they may think. I now take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped me down this long, sometimes complicated road of life. Thank you Mom, Dad, Julia, Grandpa and Grandma, Jackie, Timmy, Christy, the Seton-La Salle crew, my friends at Duquesne, professors who have taught me that less than the best is not enough, everyone at College Prowler, and of course, my dog Casper. As with everyone else, he has been there with me through it all, alwayswilling to listen.Jonathan Doctorick
