    I Also Recommend:

    Dust and Moonlight

I want to say that this book blew my mind. I have been waiting for a long time to read one of Keta's books, and I picked this one for the fantasy factor. I wasn't wowed, but something about this story just pulled me in and I found myself really liking it. I had to give it four stars for the sheer fact that little parts of it made me cry, and the sex scenes made me giggle, blush, and want more. It mentally made me beg for more as I was curled up in my bed reading it till I just couldn't and had to get some sleep to wake up to take my child to a party in the morning.

There really wasn't a lead character that I didn't like. Kira reminded me of a watered down version of Kay Scarpetta that was sucked into a world of fantasy. She was dead set on maintaining her reality, but even rational thought knew that there was no way that she was dreaming. For one Balion is way to hunky and Alpha male to be dreamed up. I swear if that man was stalking towards me with lust in his eyes I would probably do some swooning, then I would get up and slap him (Because that's what half vulnerable heroines do), and then I would strip naked and say 'Take me rough and hard!' Why? Because Balion is that damned hot! Even the supporting cast had me wanting so much more from them. They sort of got a half wrapped up HEA so you knew that the book was a stand alone, which sort of disappoints you as far as the story wrap up goes.

For me the story didn't flow. I had a hard time at the very beginning before she was transported to Locke Cress getting into the flow of the book. It seemed very choppy at times and rushed. Like Keta was trying to just get to the fantasy world and be damned with the buildup. A few points in the story I thought had some broken up bits were again there was a rush factor to them. The story as a whole I fell in love with. I just wished it had been a tad more seamless for me. I can't not give this book any lower than four stars just because of some flow problems. Because I did really enjoy the book, I wanted to read more, I had trouble putting the book down, and I cared enough about the main characters to cry for them at certain parts. For me that is very important!

Will I read more of Keta's work? YES! I have bought more, I have more in my wish list, and I can't wait to dive deeper into the world of Keta Diablo.

Heather's Reading Romance Reviews Dust and Moonlight

    FIVE STAR READ!

Keta Diablo outdid herself! I had the pleasure of reading Land of Falling Stars several months ago and knew instantly that I'd found an author who would be on auto buy. This is actually the third book I've read by this author and it just keeps getting better and better! I have yet to be disappointed.

In Dust and Moonlight, Diablo brings Kira to another world in another time. A land where her father was summoned from. Kira has traded one battle for another and is faced with the chance at a love that will know no bounds. Her desire to go home is at battle with the desire to stay wrapped in Balion's strong arms of love.

Dust and Moonlight is a definite 5 star read that I highly recommend to any one with a love for romance, fantasy, and time travel. Heather's Reading Romance
