Meet the Author

Hello again. As you know, I'm always up to something new. For now I'm on a space opera serial, called Davron. Just my usual bit of fun. Good guys, bad guys, and aliens who could be either or. It will probably be in about 5 or 6 parts, about 10,000 words each. Three parts out already and more to come. It is FREE for the series, then I'll probably make a single book out of it, if it has proved popular. We shall see.
I've also been adding some of my short stories and novellas to a site called booktrack.com.
http://cdn.booktrack.com/studio/index.html#!/bookshelf

And what is this about, Gary? I hear you ask. Well. Imagine ebooks with sound effects. Background music, ambiance, and sound effects like doors slamming, or cars driving off. It could be the next best thing. Some of my little horrors are proving popular on there, such as Character Stains. Think it's a little bit radical? Go check it out. There are some classics on there, such as Sherlock Holmes, etc. It is all FREE at the moment.
I have also created 10 audiobooks by narrating my ebooks. Some, like the All Mixed Up series, have several stories in one book. 1 to 4 and 5 to 8. If you would like to "Hear" Detective Senior Morris and the team tell the stories you'll find hyperlinks in the ebooks to take you straight there. Other audiobooks are Last Flight For Craggy. The Amazing Abbey Jones, Starlight Army and many others all at distribly.com. They are in MP4B format, ok for apple and others smart phone devices and free samples are available to try out. A free version of Starlight Army is available for a short time. Hope you like them. Gary

I wanted to try different authors, so I thought I would give this book a try. I was happy that I did, this was an amazing book, not to mention the 4 others that followed. Great reading, very well written. I am impressed.

    Great book

This was a really great book. The characters were great and I especially loved the ghosts. Dusty is a great heroine--tough, takes no bull from anyone, and has a great heart under her rough exterior. The story grabs you from the start and keeps your interest until page 860. I loved the ending and can't wait to read the rest of Dusty's adventures!

    Not just for teens

I started reading this series and am now on the 3rd book. It is an easy read , which is good as they are very long books. It might seem like a bit of fantasy but it actually has some good detective stories in it. There are a few errors but not many. It takes place in New Zealand so it is written in that language. It is well worth the read.

    Liked Dusty, but it rambled

I kept waiting for something ... something...then it ended. It was a neat story and had potential, but just didn't develop a real plot, I don't think.
