    Fabulous Read

    "He knew he really should not be looking at his friend's butt." I don't see why not, nothing like a nice backside to motivate a person.

    Oh poo! Can a reviewer say that? I don't know, but this reviewer found herself fanning her face and saying it a lot while reading this book.

    As a fan of Mr. Grey's work I was prepared when I started reading Dutch Treat by making sure I had a box of Kleenex in case I needed them. I have yet to read one of his books without crying! He always makes me tear up and laugh with all the emotions that pour out of the characters and this book is no exception.

    When I read this book, I was so involved in the writing that I felt like a friend hearing about the wild courtship dance of Michael and Stephan.

    I loved that Michael had to pull up roots and move to another country because of his job. Losing his lover because he is not willing to wait for his return put Michael on guard. He was hesitant about taking a lover in the Netherlands. Knowing that he was only going to be there a short time was a road block in the love affair I could understand but it didn't stop me from praying throughout the story that he would find a Happy Ever After at the end.

    The emotional pull was strong and the story was great It was definitely worth reading, and will become a permanent addition to my library for sure. Truly a beautiful love story but not without a "homophobic weasel", plus fear, tears, heartaches, and laughter that kept me reading late into the night.
