This is a challenging workout. It actually would be for non-pregnant people! In fact, I've done pilates before but never with weights! Unless you are superfit already you should be very careful doing this workout. I modify things depending on how I am feeling. It is good for muscle tone and flexibility. Due to my workouts during pregnancy, I have felt great even into my last weeks.

I have never done pilates and found this video to really be helpful during my pregnancy. I didn't use the weights in one of the segments and just balled up my fists and it worked just as well. The stretching segment was the best because it definitely helped with my sciatic nerve. The belly blaster after my baby was born is a muscle burner. I especially liked the ability to change what ever routine I wanted to do. I get bored easily by repetition and it made easy to chose what I wanted to do for the day.
