I tell people that I occasionally watch this show because I work with middle school girls, and want to keep up with their media choices. The truth is, though, that I mostly watch 10 TIHAY because it's kind of fun, and mostly sweet. Granted, this is not Julia Stiles and Heath Leadger, and no one will ever mistake it for Emmy material, but taken on its own merits, it is enjoyable. The actors playing Kat and Bianca Stratford are quite good, and Larry Miller does an excellent job as their nuttily overprotective but fully capable father. Ethan Peck is great brooding leading man material, and Nicholas Braun is the lovable, awkward Cameron. And of course you've got the requisite villianess that you can't totally hate, played rather hiliariously by Dana Davis. The story lines lean toward the mature side (Bianca and her friend host a voyeuristic web show without really thinking through some of the consequences), there is frequent use of mild language, and sex is referenced pretty often, so the 13+ rating is deserved.
