I'M BLACK, I'M 30, BUT THIS MOVIE DIDN'T DO IT FOR ME

Although this movie doesn't cater to the stereotypical black situations, it can't be overlooked that THIS MOVIE IS BORING!! I actually am confused by the good reviews it has received. Maybe I missed something, but the first time I watched it, I turned it off after waiting a good hour for someting interesting to happen. The second time, I got to the end but I had experienced absolutely no emotions or reactions at all. No laughter, nostalgia, satisfaction, nothing... Maybe it's just me...

This is a true to life movie

I enjoy seeing black movies that depict us with normal lives doing normal things. This is a great movie, a funny movie. I can see myself, some of my friends, and other people I know in this movie. I realistically captures the moment when you realize that "yes" you are turning 30. It's a great movie.

    YOU GOTTA SEE THIS

For anyone that is at that age when they are about to turn 30, this is a MUST see. I saw it in NY and was BLOWN away, it is an excellently funny film. I'm turly disappointed that it didn't get a wider release. The toe scene will have you on the FLOOR dying with laughter. I'm buying copies for me and all of my friends who are just a few years away from the big 3-0.

    Excellent movie

This is a movie you want to see. All of you who are soon to join the 30's club will get a big kick out of it and all of you 30 somethings + will love it because it brings you back to the been there done that moments. It's nice to see a movie which shows us in a positive light.

    Great Movie

I saw this at an urban film screening in Atlanta. The movie is entertaining and the cast is top-notch. There is never a boring moment in this movie - you will be thoroughly entertained!
