If you like Harlan Ellison then this is for you

It is like seeing an Ellison story come to life. A little dated but is quite thought provoking.

    Eternally relevant social statement

I saw the film when it was first released and thought it was a catchy, quirky, fun film. Over the years the relevance of the film has burned upon my mind. I began looking for this film in earnest about 5 years ago and was thrilled to find it had finally been re-released. I immediately purchased copies for my three sons. Don Johnson isn't one of my favorite actors, but I thoroughly enjoyed his performance and that of Jason Robards. The character Johnson portrays is lured into the 'down under' an underground society of the elite who (after years of inbreeding) are in need of fresh blood (provided by Johnson). Robards is a member of a ruling committee that presides over the residents of the 'down under'. This is my all-time favorite flick.

    A boy and his dog

Fun flick.A movie I'd love to see again, I saw it when it was originally released in the mid 1970's. L.Q.Jones did a great job. Hard to believe he was one of the bounty hunters in ''The Wild Bunch''. A good movie to own.

    A Sci-Fi gem

This is a great early film starring a young Don Johnson. He plays a great part in this film but the dog steals the show. After the world war he travels the barron land with man's best friend who has telepathic abilities. The dog is really funny as he cuts the boy down every chance he gets. The boy ends up below ground where he gets much more than he expected. This is a rare gem that few people may know about. Hey it's a cult classic so check it out!
