The milieux on display predominantly include ancient Roman buildings and locales, such as Trajan's Forum, the Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, and St. Peter's Square. The music on the soundtrack emerged from the pen of Hungarian Franz Liszt 1811-1886, known for spending a great deal of time during his last 25 years in Rome, where he developed and explored his interest in the music of the Roman Catholic Church.
