Overview

Don Bluth and Gary Goldman co-directed the family-friendly A Troll in Central Park, which comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer produces a crisp, clear image with an aspect ratio of 1.78:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame transfer. A closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a making-of featurette and a theatrical trailer. This is a decent enough disc from 20th Century Fox that will satisfy parents and kids looking for something to watch together.

A Troll in Central Park is a great movie about the good (Stanley) vs. bad (other trolls) conflict. Stanley is the good guy even though he's small. His green thumb shines through every thing showing a little boy and his sister that niceness is a good thing.
