    Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1

I was a little disappointed with the episodes on this disc but overall I found them enjoyable. The quality of the disc could be better. The episodes ''A Scandal in Bohemia'' and ''The Dancing Men'' are okay but the ''The Solitary Cyclist'' looks as if it were taped from the television. The sound is distorted at the end of the ''The Naval Treaty''. Most of the distortion isn't that bad but a couple of lines sound so bad that it is completely distracting. If you already have the episodes from this disc on VHS, I'd really recommend not buying this one. But if you don't have the tapes or if your tapes have degraded then the disc is worth buying. I don't regret the purchase of it even though there are a few sound and picture problems.
