One of a Kind - The Ultimate

This is one my prized possessions. This "ensemble" is truly at its best. Not only did I appreciate the music, as I knew I would, I enjoyed hearing the insightful interviews of Ahmad, James and Idris. As the late great Harold Cruse noted so long ago, it is the arts that span any man-made boundary. This music by Mr. Jamal's Ensemble is sure to reach the inner parts of your soul no matter who you are or what separates the world from you. The signature song "Poinciana" is rendered as fresh as the daily bread from your best bakery. The camera angles are superb, although I could have used a little more of Idris. The music is tight, sound, and solid. The setting is gorgeous, the lighting is great. If you are an Ahmad Jamal fan your collection is incomplete without this DVD. In summary I offer these two words, GET IT!!
