Overview

Rob Reiner directs Luke Wilson and Kate Hudson in the romantic comedy Alex & Emma, which arrives on DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that fails to preserve the original theatrical aspect ratio. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Reiner and Wilson, and the film's theatrical trailer. This is a fine disc for what it is, but the film is available on a different disc in a widescreen transfer. That DVD is preferable to this one.

I went and saw this during a sneak peek and If I hadn't of been sitting in the middle of the row, I would have left. I found the whole story tedious and not very romantic or funny. I couldn't believe the way that they played up the whole issue of him being killed if he didn't get the money in time and blew it off at the end. What nerve!

it shows you love for others points of view. and how much you want to fall in love with a storie charater.

Alex & Emma is a surprising WINNER. It¿s similar to another of Rob Reiner¿s films, When Harry Met Sally, but I find this more poignant, entrancing and funny. The casting is great (who doesn¿t love Kate Hudson), and Rob Reiner directs it perfectly. I love how the novel develops itself as it progresses and how it left me hanging and guessing and hoping until the very end. If you liked When Harry Met Sally, you¿ll love this movie.

Alex and Emma is my favorite movie. I hadn't really heard anything about it but I saw it in the theaters and absolutely loved it. Kate Hudson is my favorite actress, and she does a wonderful job. Luke Wilson is also great. The story is good, and is very funny in some spots. Watch Alex and Emma, because it's so good!!!

A great romantic comedy, my favorite genre. It has a really different storyline, and it is interesting to watch. I highkly recommend this movie.
