    I Also Recommend:

Last but NOT Least In the Four Seasons of Master Hitchcock's "Alfred Hitchcock Presents!

Brilliant Hitchcock at his very best. Excellent way to enjoy short vignettes one right after another, especially when you find a file to be too long! These classic short stories or "plays" as the late talented Mr. Hitchcock called them, are all gripping tales filled with intrigue, mystery and suspense. An added bonus to his genius is the usual moral at the ending of each exciting nail-biting episode. How nice it is to have Alfred Hitchcock narrate each show, adding to the exquisite experience while cuddled up in front of the television DVD player on a chilly evening. Now, that is how I enjoy these splendid programs. Enjoy the collection in your own way! YOU SHOULD BUY SEASON ONE, TWO AND THREE FIRST, I think... as the order is important, but not necessary!

Alfred Hitchcock Presents - Season 4

To date, I've purchased all four seasons, the 4th being the most recent. I've always been a fan of Alfred Hitchcock and the episodes presented on DVD are superb--free of commercials too. I've been particularly fond of seeing budding actors & actresses in roles early in their careers, thanks to Mr. Hitchcock. The plots unveiled in the episodes are still unique despite their presentation about fifty years ago. Looking forward to the 5th Season, whenever it's released.

Two years coming but worth the wait

Maybe I have watched the previous three seasons too many times while impatiently waiting for this one, but the fourth season seems to be the best yet. It is wonderful to see some of the same actors again (Barbara Bel Geddes, John Williams, and of course Pat Hitchcock), and it's surprising to see some actors who don't seem like Hitchcock "types" (Walter Matthau, Dennis Day, and Steve McQueen). There seem to be more episodes that lean towards dark humor than to suspense, and there is at least one passing reference to an episode in a previous season. Hitchcock seems to be enjoying taking his shots at "the sponsor" more than ever. Excellent DVD on all counts.
