Animator Don Bluth's All Dogs Go to Heaven comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include the original theatrical trailer. This is a pedestrian release from MGM/UA that will hold little interest for the average DVD consumer, but the inexpensive list price makes it a worthy title for anyone seeking family-friendly fare.

I do not know what the other reviewers are talking about!!! This is a great, classic movie! People get too touchy! People need to stop being so sensitive and expose their kids to great, new things. Get real and enjoy!
Wow, some people really need to grow up. If it's not people crying devil every time a new Harry Potter book comes out, it's a bitter lady writing a review about how bad a children's cartoon is. You are wrong lady. This movie is amazing. I watched it as a kid, and I am a great person to this day. I watched way worse than this. If you want to watch a cartoon that will most likely offend you (ironically also about dogs), go watch the Plague Dogs. It's one of my favs. Or Heavy Metal. All Dog's Go To Heaven isn't offensive. The real world is offensive with people like your whiny butt. Do you have your kids watching Barney? Or is that too offensive too? I'm done.
I was 4 when ,this movie came out. I remember going to the movies and watching it, aND LOVING it Of course I made my parents buy it for me and I have loved it ever scince!
its a cute movie but not all kids would like it cause one dog is the bad guy and he smokes. but other than that its a good movie. I like itchy he is cute.
one very good made movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched this with my 4 year old granddaughter, and was very disappointed. I found it to be extremely violent and ugly. The main characters (except for the little girl) were not even likable. I don't think this movie is suitable for young children. Even a single star seems excessive.
Pretty good movie, but is a little offensive (gambling, lying, heaven portrayed as angels sitting on a cloud playing the harp, etc.). Some scenes may scare some little kids.
When I was about 3 my grandma and I went to a garage sale and i liked the cover of the movie so i asked her if i could get the movie and as soon as we got home she needed to do some cores so she popped it right in and sat me down and went to work right away, she was surprised that i hadnt moved from my spot when she was done and the movie was nearly half way over. I loved everything about that movie and i still do over the years every time i went to grandma's house i wanted to watch all dogs go to heaven....soon i knew every word and every song ( and the sad thing is i havent forgotten them) i think the story has a good moral and i just think its a sweet movie. just this year in january my grandmother passed away and now that shes gone everytime i watch the movie i feel like shes there with me watching the movie, it aways reminds me of her so when im feeling lonely i watch it. If you havent seen it you must, in my opinion its for ages 5 and up because i saw it at a young age and was scared at some parts but in the end it was great. It still is my All- time favorite movie. But i hated all dogs go to heaven 2, for one it did not have burt rynolds and i though he did an excellent job nor did it have hardly any of the origional characters....nor did i enjoy all dogs go to heavens christmas....not the same illustrator and i didnt like the plot of either all dogs go to heaven2 and christmas....but the origional was the best.
