    Escapism

Good, clean, escapist fun. Sure we realize it couldn't happen but a relly young Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone do a fun tonque in cheek romp through the childrens 1930s movie serials. Something you'll brag about at a cocktail party? NO. Something fun, with silliness and overacting, yes. It is what it is. In this case it's the 1970's hit that supposedly inspired the original Star Wars (yes, quite a mental leap).

    Good For A Distraction

This is really is a good way to just sit back, and have something on the screen to break the silence and have the screen flicker, in the long standing tradition of B movies (which I love). The big draw back is what many sequels have it tried to hard to be like the original A.Q and King Soloman's Mine, and not stand on it's own as a continuation of the story. Still it is a fun way to pass the time if you have it.
