Incredibly relaxing, yet revitalizing. You come away with a sense that you've just done something good for yourself, and a sense of peace and calm. Not another 'home-video' quality Yoga program - I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism. Beautiful scenery, soothing music, confident instruction - all come together to make an excellent experience.

Also suggest "Treat Your Knee Arthritis" if you have knee pain that interferes with your workout.

Poses are simple and easy to follow. Even for someone as out of shape as I was. AM totally relaxing but somehow gives strength and energy to make it through the day. PM releases tension and relaxes me enough to let me sleep at least 6 hours straight! I started out with the 15 min AM. That's all I had time for with working 12 hrs. a day. Now I do both. They are short enough where I can commit to 15 min in the moring and 18 min. at night. No matter how busy or hectic. I saw a difference in 1 week.

I agree with another reviewer that the AM portion is wonderful - relaxing, calming, a wonderful way to start the day. The PM portion, however, is very difficult for a beginner. I have trouble with it and I am in shape, and when I tried to get my 70 year old mother to do it, she couldn't do much of it at all. She should have been able to do some of a beginner yoga program. Once you get stronger, it is doable, and the music/scenes are beatiful and relaxing. So start with the AM with Rodney and work up to the PM yoga.

This is a great DVD if you are new to yoga. The both sessions are abot 20 minutes each and they are a great way to relax.

You have to read the fine print to realize Rodney Yee doesn't do the PM session and while I love the AM session with him, I find the PM very difficult to follow. Frequently, I have to get out of pose and turn around to see the screen because she is not walking you through it verbally well enough.

I learned these moves in rehab years ago. When I found myself needing to start exercise over from square one, this is one of the videos I turned to. There are some moves that are - and may always be - beyond my ability to fully execute, but they are easy to modify. I'd recommend this video to anyone wanting a handful of basic, uncomplicated poses for morning and evening practice.

This video is great for anybody who wants to do a little yoga at morning and at night. I'm a full time student and i work full time and in about ten minutes a day, using this video, you can totally increase your clarity and vitality first thing in the morning and keep it through the day. Highly recomended.

So I bought this DVD to begin practicing yoga. I went to the store to pick this item up. When I finally opened it and put it into my DVD player I found it was a whole different DVD other then what was suppose to be on there. I give this a 1 star for this reason only. The quality control of this company is bad enough to put the right cover on both the DVD box and DVD itself, yet put a whole different movie on it. Makes no sense. Hopefully I will get the right one and then give an actual review of the DVD. Update: Went back to Barnes and Noble for the second time tonight to replace the first one I bought. So they gave me no issue about the DVD and was willing to replace it. After that I got home, put the DVD in, and yet again it was the same exact DVD as the first one. Upon further investigation, I went on amazon and found the DVD that is actually on the one I purchased and its not even owned by Gaiam. In my opinion, I have lost complete faith in this company and all of their products until they fix it. I can understand one DVD being messed up, but multiple DVD's? Horrible quality control. I wish everyone luck in Yoga, but I can not in good faith endorse this product to anyone.
