Overall, this is an excellent documentary. The best I have sen so far and I have seen many. It covers his life, from a young and ill child to his final days. It details very well the issues that held him back from doing more then he did, which really was not a lot overall. It leaves us with the thought of, if he had a second term would he great. To me the answer is yes. He has so much to deal with that he never got to much of what he wanted to do. It clearly yells his story, what shaped, his morals, his beliefs, his loses, his medical conditions and yet he really did get a good amount done in a short time. It is well worth the investment. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

New PBS documentary in the American Presidents series covers JFK's life with primary emphasis on the dramatic events of his presidency. Interviews with biographers and historians include some new material on JFK's health problems but mostly cover familiar ground. The program concludes with the trip to Texas, but those looking for treatment of JFK's assassination and its aftermath will be disappointed. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
