Overview

Two generations of detectives struggle for 28 years to crack a seemingly impenetrable murder case only to discover that their tenacity has paid off thanks to advances in forensic technology and the art of criminal profiling in directors Anthony Hornus and Jeff Kennedy's real-life tale of belated justice. The year is 1973, and the murder of a young mother has rocked a small Michigan community. As the outraged citizens pull together to assist the investigation, the police attempt to use emerging forensics technology to narrow down the list of suspects with little to no luck. The victim's mother stricken with grief and forced to look to a higher power for solace, the crime goes unsolved until advancements in DNA identification and criminal psychological profiling finally puts a face to the evil that haunted a community for nearly three decades.

    CSI Lovers will Enjoy!

I'm an avid watcher of CSI and I have to say I loved watching the diverse group of detectives tackle the potential killers in this film. It really does bring up a spiritual karmic topic of fate. I saw this real story on Court TV and I loved seeing it on DVD. Great behind the scenes.

    Powerful True Story!

This movie moved me to tears and also made me really respect the commitment of law enforcement. I loved newcommers DJ Perry, Terry Jernigan and Chris Nendick and was thrilled to see Terence Knox and Dan Haggerty back in action. What a grand story. I found this movie after seeing Perry and Jernigan in a Virginia film called JUDGES.

    Great Film!

I saw this film in the theaters in Owosso and I have to say it was awesome! I think this chilling film is a great who done it. Terence Knox and DJ Perry play off one another great. Terry Jernigan and Dan Haggerty play great small town cops. It was also great seeing Walter Matthau's son Charles in the film. It will keep you guessing and the truth will be painful but enlightening.
