If you want to sit back, have a bowl of pop corn and enjoy some laughs with your girlfriend, this is the movie for you. Of course that's assuming you are a girl too (wink). Anyway, the movie is styled after Run, Lola, Run. What that essentially means is that the same scenario plays out three times, each time slightly differently. If you haven't seen Run, Lola, Run (which every film buff should see btw) then think Groundhog Day. Events are repeated, giving he main character (LOLA), the opportunity to get a do-over until she gets it right (which she does to great effect). Ashleigh Sumner plays Lola and she is really great fun to watch. Jill Bennett who is, I have to say, very easy on the eyes, plays her girlfriend. As Lola tries to make her way to her girlfriend (the stakes aren't quite as high-or depressing-as Run, Lola, Run) she runs into various obstacles, both external and internal. Along the way we are treated to a lighthearted look at lesbian relationships and all the baggage that comes with. I found this aspect of the movie to be particularly endearing. In the end, Lola seems to figure it out and finds what she has been looking for. That is all I will say as I don't want to ruin it. Also the animation sequences were quite clever and the soundtrack rocked. Good fun.

Loved the women in this movie. Ashleigh Sumner who plays Lola was great. Her comic timing was perfect and her athleticism impressive. Her bedroom moves weren't half bad either, but then she did have the benefit of having her conquest played by Jill Bennett. It was refreshing to see talented and out actors in a movie about lesbians. In fact, if you're not lesbian, you may not "get" a lot of the inside dyke humor. A good, fun, film. The "Behind the Scenes" video at the end of the DVD is also worth watching. It features a good interview with Ashleigh Sumner and some fun footage from the set. Want to find out what it's like to shoot a sex scene with Jill Bennett? Know's your chance.
