    Faithful to the second book

This did not have the budget of the latter Sullivan films and so it is basically a filmed stage play but it is much more faithful to the second book and its performances make this very good and well worth owning for any "Anne" fan. This was a sequel to their own version of the first book but apparently they have yet to find a complete copy of that earlier film, which is a shame, but I enjoyed this one very much even though it is missing the beautiful settings of the Sullivan films.
