Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Christina Urban
The animated fast-food trio of Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad are back, fighting Garden State crime in Volume 2 of the Cartoon Network cult hit Aqua Teen Hunger Force. When they're not annoying Carl, their next-door neighbor, they are thwarting a series of villains -- always sent forth by mad scientist Dr. Weird from his fortress on the New Jersey Shore. Fans can expect more of show's typically odd and irreverent comedy in this set, which contains episodes 17 and 18 from Season 1 as well as 11 episodes from Season 2. Carl and Master Shake share the cost of love on "Mail-Order Bride," while the holiday-themed "Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future" boasts an animated turn by rocker Glenn Danzig. As always, the highlights of this ATHF volume are the special features, including a series origin mockumentary hosted by a wolf puppet; deleted scenes; abandoned character designs and concept art; and commentaries on four episodes. The funniest of these accompanies "Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future" and includes reflections by the voice cast. Another gem of the collection is the original Space Ghost: Coast to Coast episode "Baffler Meal," wherein the ATHF make their debut.

    Funniest Show On TV. Period.

This is probably the funniest show of all time. It is like Seinfeld, if Jerry was made of food, an idiot, and constently came up with crazy ideas. So it isn't like Seinfeld at all, but none the less. You must own this dvd. I promise you will laugh for hours on end.
