    Unremarkable and boring

A very ordinary product. Apparently a budget basement and an amateurish production. It gives the impression of a series of takes put together with careless editing. Older DVD versions of Arabian Nights are far better and entertaining.

    a wonderfully unique story

this is a great retelling of the story of shahrazad and the 1001 nights she kept herself alive by telling stories. Some of the stories are portrayed here, so you actually get more than just one story.

    A Wonderfully Flowing Movie

I happened to see this movie with my classmates a few years ago and to our surprise we all really liked it. The movie simply flowed with Sherazade cleverly postponing her persecution by telling her husband stories. There are a lot of good subplots and I especially liked the end scene where we find out that she happens to be telling the story to her two boys rather than the viewers as we are led to believe. Narration is often sloppy but here is nicely done. It's a good movie.
