This has been a huge disappointment for us. Our baby (a 19-months old girl) has several of the original Baby Einstein videos, loves them, and we thought that, as she likes everything to do with water, this DVD would be perfect for her. Not so. It has not the same appeal as the original series, lacks in music, overall quality and attention grabbing features. I¿m afraid this is the last Baby Einstein DVD we¿ll buy.

It is unimaginative and boring. I have a lot of Baby Einstein DVDs, this was the least enjoyable. Buy Baby Einstein World Animals instead.

I've noticed several single/double stars which prompted me to write a review of my own. We have every Baby Einstein video (some are better than others) but my 16 month old has had Baby Neptune since he was two months old and he has not gotten bored with this video - in fact, when I go to the gym, I bring the video with me and they pop it in the VCR and there is never a 'scene' with him having a breakdown that I'm leaving him.... he is enraptured with the video - as soon as he sees the caterpillar he knows what's coming and he gets very excited. In fact, he even quacks like a duck anticipating the characters. I highly recommend this video. It has also been a savior during sleepless teething nights - both Baby Neptune and Baby MacDonald are the only things that stop the crying!!

This was my 8 month olds first baby einstein video and she loves it!! I am surprised at the 1-2 star reviews although, this was not one of my nephew's favs. I guess it depends of the baby. I however, would recommend this one.

I think this is a great addition to our baby einstein collection. The Water theme is well thought out for young children. The main characters -duck,octopus,turtle- are a new style puppet and are beautifully portrayed by the puppeteers. My daugheter is 2 and LOVES this video. The puppets make her Laugh and Laugh and Laugh. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the baby einstein series.

I have the entire series of videos and DVD's. I have a home daycare and 2 children of my own. My oldest is 3.5 years old and when we do watch them, she loves to ''teach'' the younger kids what things are. I haven't read any of the books or used the flash cards that go along with the videos.

The five or so original Baby Einstein videos or DVD's were excellent! Unfortunately, Julie Aigner-Clark did not retain any editorial control of the contents or quality of the new products produced by Disney when she sold her company The new products are POOR They do not even come close to the excellent product created by Ms. Aigner-Clark. Buy the originals - don't waste your money on the newer Disney products.
